Day 02
Kathmandu UNESCO Heritage Sightseeing and Drive to Nagarkot
After breakfast, begin your tour of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of the Kathmandu Valley.
Head to Swayambhunath, also called the Monkey Temple, as many Rhesus macaque monkeys are found here.
Walk around Boudhanath Stupa and then visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, and Changunarayan Temple.
Drive from Kathmandu to Nagarkot.
Overnight stay at a hotel in Nagarkot.
Day 03
Sunrise, Bhaktapur, and Patan Durbar Square
Wake up early in the morning to see the sunrise. After breakfast, drive to Bhaktapur, an ancient city known for its elegant art and fabulous culture, located 12 km east of Kathmandu.
Visit the four squares: Dattatreya, Taumadhi, Pottery, and Durbar Square.
Drive to Patan Durbar Square in Lalitpur, located 9 km from Kathmandu, which has three main chowks - Keshav Narayan Chowk, Mul Chowk, and Sundari Chowk.
Head to Kathmandu for an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 04
Departure from Kathmandu
Depart for the airport or, if time permits, go shopping on your own.
