Itinerary

1. Day 1- Arrival in Kathmandu

   • On arrival at Kathmandu Airport, get transferred to the hotel after being received by our guides and staff.
   • Join for a group briefing regarding treks and other helpful information.

    Overnight in Kathmandu.

2. Sightseeing in Kathmandu and Trek Preparation

   • Today is a free day in Kathmandu to see UNESCO World heritage sites. 
   • Visit the Pashupatinath, a famous and sacred Hindu temple and Swayambhunath, a monkey temple. 
   • After then, explore the Boudhanath stupa, one of the world's largest stupas.
     Then, head to Kathmandu Durbar Square to witness the old Royal Palace. The whole area is fully packed with ancient temples and artifacts.
   • After completing the sightseeing tour, return to your hotel and prepare yourself for the trek. 

   Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

3. Day 3- Kathmandu - Lukla - Phakding

   • Take an early flight to Lukla and start your trek towards Phakding village. The 45-minute flight is very scenic as you will witness a superb view of the Himalayan range. 
   • Upon your arrival at Hillary airport, meet other crew members and begin your trek through the picturesque village of Lukla.
     Reach Phakding, explore the village and visit nearby local monasteries.

   Spend your night at teahouses in Phakding.

4. Day 4- Namche Bazaar

   • Start your morning with a hike on a gradual trail to reach Monjo and Sagarmatha National Park entrance. 
   • From here on, climb for a few hours to reach the famous Namche Bazaar.

5. Day 5- Namche Bazaar

   • Have rest today to support acclimatization. 
   • Hike up to scenic viewpoint facing Everest-Lhotse-Nuptse-Amadablam and other range of mountains.

6. Day 6- Tengboche

   • Today, head towards Tengboche village, which hosts the largest monasteries of the Khumbu region, that is, Tengboche Monastery. Get a mind-blowing sight of Everest and other surrounding peaks on the bright days. 
   • On the way, if you are lucky enough, you might spot some rare wildlife like musk deers, Himalayan Thar, pheasants, etc. You will take the downhill and cross the Dudh Koshi river.
   • Further, walk through a deep forest to the Tengboche village.

7. Day 7- Tengboche

   • Spend the day exploring the Tengboche village and visit Tengboche Monastery. It is one of the largest monasteries in the Everest region of Nepal, and it is also one of the religious places for the Sherpa people. 
   • From the top of the monastery, see the breathtaking views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse, and Mt. Ama Dablam. 
   • In the monastery, meet the mountaineers and submitters as they visit the place to collect blessings from Lamas before the expedition. 
   • After exploring the Tengboche village, get back to the teahouse for an overnight stay.

8. Day 8- Namche Bazaar

   • Today, trek back to Namche Bazaar, following down the same trail. 
   • Leaving behind the beautiful Tengboche village, continue your trek back to the town of Namche. 
   • Enjoy the panoramic view of Mt. Everest.
   • Reach Namche Bazaar for an overnight stay.

9. Day 9- Namche Bazaar - Lukla

   • Begin your trek walking through the Sherpa village of Monjo. 
   • Cross bridges and hike along the bank of the Bhote Koshi river till you reach Monjo. 
   • Enroute to Lukla, traverse through the town of Phakding. 
   • Pass through colourful prayer flags, mani walls, and small gompas along the trail. 
   • Reach Lukla and take some rest.

10. Day 10- Lukla - Kathmandu

    • Today, take an early morning flight back to Kathmandu. 
    • Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel in Kathmandu. Today you will get enough time to relax and rest at your hotel. Also, if you want, you can explore nearby places or chill with your friends at Thamel.

11. Day 11- Kathmandu

    • Spend an extra day in Kathmandu valley. It is separated in case of bad weather in Lukla. So, if you wish you can do some shopping and get some souvenirs for your loved and close ones. You can stroll around nearby shops or go out in Thamel or Durbar marg. 
    • In the evening, you can enjoy dinner with traditional dance in Thamel. 

    Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

12. Day 12- Departure

    • Depending on your time of return flight, transfer to the airport.
