The itinerary

1
Day 01

Arrival in Kathmandu and Welcome Dinner

  • Arrive at Kathmandu airport.

  • Enjoy a meet and greet at the airport, followed by a transfer to the hotel.

  • Receive a short briefing about the tour.

  • The rest of your day is free and can be spent on afternoon walks through the old bazaar area of Kathmandu.

  • Enjoy a welcome dinner at your Nepali guide's home with his family.

Day 02

Kathmandu Heritage Sites and Sacred Temples

  • Meet your guide at 9 a.m. in the hotel lobby for a full-day program.

  • Visit the ancient Stupa of Swayambhunath, located on a hillock overlooking the vast Kathmandu Valley.

  • Drive and walk to Kathmandu Durbar Square to see ancient temples and medieval palace courtyards full of artistic architecture with intricate carvings.

  • See Pashupatinath Temple and witness the sacred atmosphere of the vicinity at one of the ancient Hindu temples of Nepal, dedicated to the almighty God Shiva.

  • Visit Boudhanath Stupa, which gives out a Tibetan feel. See thousands of Buddhist pilgrims walking around here in their traditional attire as a ritual.

  • Drive back to the hotel.

Day 03

Patan, Bhaktapur and Dhulikhel

  • Meet your guide in the hotel lobby at a predetermined time.

  • Visit Patan Durbar Square and major Newari Buddhist monasteries.

  • Drive to Bhaktapur, an ancient town listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its traditional architecture, textile products, and royal yoghurt. Explore the daily lives of the local people while walking through the narrow alleys here.

  • Continue driving to Dhulikhel, a Newari town famous for spectacular views of the snow-clad peaks of the Himalayas.

Overnight stay in a resort.

Day 04

Dhulikhel Countryside Hike and Return to Kathmandu

  • Begin with a short hike of around 3-4 hours through the countryside of Dhulikhel and its surroundings.

  • Visit a local school on the way, interact with the schoolchildren, and spend some time with them. Learn about the education system of Nepal.

  • Return to the resort for a lunch break.

  • Return to Kathmandu.

Day 05

Drive to Pokhara, the Lake City

  • Drive 6-7 hours to Pokhara, the lake city situated in front of the world-famous Annapurna mountain range.

  • Experience walking on a suspension bridge along the highway.

  • The rest of the day is free to relax at the lakeside of Pokhara.

Overnight stay at a lakeside hotel.

Day 06

Sarangkot Sunrise, Phewa Lake and Peace Pagoda

  • Take an early morning drive to the sunrise viewpoint of Sarangkot. Experience breathtaking sunrises and their effect on the Annapurna mountain range, including the beautiful peak of Fishtail (6,993 m).

  • Return to the hotel and, after breakfast, take a boat ride on Phewa Lake and start hiking uphill to the Peace Pagoda.

  • On the way, visit the Tibetan refugee camp and Davis Falls.

  • Go back to the hotel for a lunch break.

Day 07

Bandipur Village Experience

  • Drive 3 hours to Bandipur (975 m), a typical Newari village located amidst a beautiful natural setting on a hill ridge. Observe the locals during their daily chores.

Overnight stay will be at a theme-based guest house.

Day 08

Journey to Chitwan National Park

  • Drive 3-4 hours to Chitwan National Park for a two-night package of safari activities.

  • Enjoy a local Tharu Indigenous tribal dance in the evening.

Overnight stay will be at a safari-styled lodge.

Day 09

Safari Activities in Chitwan National Park

  • Do an elephant safari or an optional jeep safari today in the national park. Spot elephants and other wildlife, including lions, leopards, jackals, and more.

  • You can also enjoy fun canoe rides to watch crocodiles, hippos, and various bird species here.

Day 10

Return to Kathmandu and Free Time

  • Drive 6-7 hours back to Kathmandu, followed by hotel transfers.

  • The rest of the day is free and, if interested, you can do some local shopping.

Day 11

Departure from Kathmandu

  • We will drop you at the airport for your return flight to your onward destination.
