Meet your tour guide at the agreed-upon location and begin the tour.
Visit Pashupatinath Temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. This massive temple complex sits alongside the banks of the holy Bagmati River. Only Hindus are allowed to enter the courtyard of the temple, while tourists can view the temple from the eastern side of the Bagmati River.
Head to Swayambhu Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple. The hill commands a sweeping view of the Kathmandu Valley, and pilgrims and monkeys overrun the temple complex.
Proceed to Boudha Stupa, the biggest stupa in Nepal and the holiest Tibetan Buddhist sanctuary outside Tibet.
End your tour at Kathmandu Durbar Square, a landmark historic attraction known for its ancient Newari architecture. The high temples, popular shrines, and the old royal palace are located in the heart of the capital city of Kathmandu, also known as Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square.
