Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu

2. Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Manthali

   • Scenic 6-7 hour drive from Kathmandu to Manthali.

   • Enjoy views of villages, terraced fields, and forests along the way.

   • Free time to explore the peaceful town of Manthali.

   Overnight stay in a local guesthouse to rest for the trek.

3. Day 3: Flight to Lukla and Trek to Phakding

   • Exciting flight to Lukla, famous for its mountain-surrounded airport.

   • Begin trek to Phakding along the Dudh Koshi River.

   • Pass through forests and villages, enjoying first glimpses of the Himalayas.

   Overnight stay in Phakding, relax before the next day's trek.

4. Day 4: Trek to Namche (3,440 meters)

   • Longer and more challenging trek from Phakding to Namche.

   • Cross suspension bridges and pass through villages and forests.

   • Arrive in Namche Bazaar, a lively Sherpa town.

   • Explore the market and local shops.

   Overnight stay to adjust to the altitude.

5. Day 5: Acclimatization Day in Namche (3,440 meters)

   • Acclimatization day to help adjust to higher altitude.

   • Short hike to Everest View Hotel for stunning mountain views.

   • Explore Namche, visit the Sherpa Museum, or enjoy local culture.

   • Relax and prepare for the next leg of the trek.

6. Day 6: Trek to Dole (4,040 meters)

   • Trek from Namche to Dole, heading towards the Gokyo Valley.

   • Scenic but challenging trail passing through pine forests and villages.

   • Feel the effects of altitude as you ascend.

   Overnight stay in Dole to rest in peaceful surroundings.

7. Day 7: Trek to Machermo (4,470 meters)

   • Trek from Dole to Machermo, a village higher in the mountains.

   • Pass through forests, streams, and enjoy beautiful snowy peak views.

   • Adjust to the altitude and take breaks as needed.

   Overnight stay in Machermo to rest before continuing to Gokyo.

8. Day 8: Trek to Gokyo (4,790 meters)

9. Day 9: Hike to Gokyo Ri and Back to Dole (4,790 meters)

   • Descend back to Gokyo for a rest.

   • Trek back to Dole, spend the night reflecting on the views.

10. Day 10: Trek to Namche (3,440 meters)

    • Begin descent from Dole to Namche, mostly downhill.

    • Pass through forests, cross suspension bridges, and enjoy the fresh air.

    • Arrive back in Namche, relax, and explore the town.

    Overnight stay in Namche before the next day's trek.

11. Day 11: Trek to Lukla (2,860 meters)

    • Trek downhill from Namche to Lukla.

    • Enjoy beautiful views and pass through forests and villages.

    • Arrive in Lukla, time to explore the town and reflect on the trek.

    Overnight stay in Lukla, preparing for your flight back to Kathmandu.

12. Day 12: Flight Back to Manthali and Drive to Kathmandu (1,400m)

    • Scenic flight from Lukla to Manthali.

    • Drive from Manthali to Kathmandu, passing through hills and villages.

    • Free time in Kathmandu to relax, shop, or unpack.

    • Reflect on your trek and prepare for departure the next day.

13. Day 13: Departure Day

    • Free time in Kathmandu for last-minute shopping or sightseeing.

    • Transfer to the airport for your flight back home.

    • Reflect on the incredible trek and unforgettable experiences in the Everest region.
