The journey
Sign up for this 13-day tour from Kathmandu and trek to the world-famous Everest Base Camp. Start the hike from Phakding, passing through gorgeous snowscapes, picturesque villages, and stunning waterfalls, and reach the Base Camp via Namche and Tengboche. Take in the breathtaking views of the Himalayan Range, learn about Sherpa culture, and have the adventure of a lifetime.
We will take an hour's rest here before proceeding to climb Kala Patthar for sunset views.

Arrival in Kathmandu, followed by a meet and greet, hotel transfer, and a welcome drink.
Before retiring for the night, we will do the tour briefing.
After breakfast, a car will drop us at the domestic airport for our flight to Lukla.
Our actual trekking begins from here. Our first camp destination will be Phakding (2,610 m).
Starting the trekking journey today, we will begin from Dudh Koshi and ascend through Himalayan pine and cedar forests to reach the celebrated village of Namche Bazaar. The village of Namche is a historic trading post where Nepalese and Tibetan traders exchange salt, dried meat, and textiles.
During this hike, we will capture our first glimpses of Everest and other neighboring peaks.

Leave early for a steep hike up toward Mount Everest. Hike from Namche Bazaar and enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayas, including Mount Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam.
Continue to see the traditional Sherpa villages of Khumjung and Khunde.
On the way back, we will visit the Sherpa Culture Museum and Everest Photo Gallery.

An easy trail from Namche opens out toward the Dudh Koshi Valley at the settlement of Phungki Thanka. From the settlement, the views of Mount Everest are magnificent.
Following the trail that marches along the right side of the Dudh Koshi River, we will reach the village of Tengboche. This village is also famous for the Tengboche Monastery, the largest monastery in the Khumbu region. See this monastery and the village of Tengboche, which is located at the confluence of the Dudh Koshi and Imja Khola rivers.

Today, the trekking trail will take us across the Imja River via a suspension bridge and then lead us toward the village of Dingboche.
Along the way, we will also pass by the village of Pangboche. We can enjoy scenic views of Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Island Peak from Dingboche.

Making our way to Dhungla from Dingboche, we will come across the Trekkers Aid Post situated at Pheriche (4,210 m). The path then follows further down to the Khumbu Glacier.
You will reach Gorakshep today. This is often seen as the last destination of human civilization. We will take an hour's rest here before proceeding to climb Kala Patthar for sunset views.
At this time, we can also enjoy sunny reflections on Mount Everest and other nearby mountain ranges.

After breakfast, you will go through zig-zag trails that will finally take you to the actual base camp of Mount Everest. This adventure trip will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
See the famous Khumbu Icefalls here and then trek back down to Pheriche.

After breakfast, we will trek toward Tengboche for rest and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, we move from Tengboche to the Namche Bazaar area, where we will celebrate our trek.
After an early breakfast, we will leave the Namche Bazaar area and proceed downhill. This downhill walk will take around 6-7 hours before we finally reach Lukla. The trail is relatively easy, though it is long. Enjoy tea breaks and lunch along the way.
Stay overnight at Lukla, where you can enjoy hot showers and coffee.
First, we will have a short celebration dinner in Kathmandu to conclude this trek.
Then, we will drop you at Lukla airport for a flight to Kathmandu or your return flight to your onward destination.
