Itinerary

1. Kathmandu Durbar Square

   • Meet the tour guide and visit Kathmandu Durbar Square in the morning as the first destination. 

   • Stop by the Living Goddess “Kumari", and the beautifully crafted and decorated palace where she lived during her tenure is another attraction.  You can have a glance at Goddess Kumari while she appears in the window of her palace upon request. 

   • See the huge black Bhairab statue of the 6th century, the mask of white Bhairava, Shiva temple, Vishnu temple, Taleju temple, various courtyards, and others in the Durbar square.  

2. Pashupatinath Temple

   • Go to Pashupatinath Temple, the most prominent Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva (God of destruction according to Hindu philosophy). 

   • Witness cremation in the bank of river Bagmati and various shrines, temples, and stories related to Hinduism.

3. Boudhanath Stupa

   • Visit Boudhanath Stupa, the most famous and the holiest stupa in Nepal. 

   • Based on our time, visit Swoyambhunath Stupa as well.

4. Shopping Tour

   • In the afternoon, enjoy shopping in Nepal. You can find silk carpets, Tibetan carpets, pashmina shawls, Thanka paintings, statues, handicrafts, jewellery, Gurkha knives, garments and other items either in a narrow street of Thamel or other shopping areas.

   End of Tour
