Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu (1,400m)

   • Meet your guide and receive a warm welcome at Tribhuvan International Airport.

   • Transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu.

   • Attend a pre-trek briefing and complete a gear check.

   • Rest and prepare for the adventure ahead.

2. Day 2: Fly to Lukla (2,840m) and Trek to Phakding (2,610m)

   • Take a scenic flight to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region.

   • Begin your trek with a gentle walk through forested trails and Sherpa villages.

   • Cross several suspension bridges.

   • Arrive in Phakding and settle into your teahouse.

   Overnight stay in Phakding.

3. Day 3: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)

   • Continue trekking along the Dudh Koshi River.

   • Enter Sagarmatha National Park at Monjo.

   • Cross the famous Hillary Suspension Bridge.

   • Ascend steadily to Namche Bazaar, the vibrant Sherpa town.

   Overnight stay in Namche Bazaar.

4. Day 4: Acclimatize in Namche Bazaar

   • Hike to the Everest View Hotel or Khumjung Village for panoramic mountain views.

   • Visit the Sherpa Culture Museum or local monasteries.

   • Return to Namche and relax.

5. Day 5: Trek to Tengboche (3,860m)

   • Ascend through pine forests with views of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam.

   • Pass mani stones and prayer flags.

   • Visit the renowned Tengboche Monastery.

6. Day 6: Trek to Dingboche (4,410m)

   • Descend to Debuche and cross the Imja River.

   • Climb gradually past Pangboche and into alpine terrain.

   • Reach the open fields of Dingboche.

7. Day 7: Acclimatize in Dingboche

   • Hike to Nagarjun Hill or Chhukung for altitude adjustment.

   • Admire views of Island Peak, Makalu, and the Imja Valley.

   • Return to Dingboche and relax.

8. Day 8: Trek to Lobuche (4,910m)

   • Continue trekking through alpine meadows and moraine fields.

   • Climb past Thukla Pass and visit climbers’ memorials.

   • Catch glimpses of Nuptse, Pumori, and Khumbutse.

   • Reach Lobuche and rest.

9. Day 9: Trek to Everest Base Camp (5,364m) via Gorak Shep (5,170m)

   • Hike to Gorak Shep and leave your gear.

   • Push onward to Everest Base Camp through the rocky glacial path.

   • Celebrate at Base Camp with group photos and views of the Khumbu Icefall.

   • Return to Gorak Shep.

10. Day 10: Hike to Kala Patthar (5,545m) and Trek to Pheriche (4,280m)

    • Wake early and ascend to Kala Patthar for sunrise over Everest and surrounding peaks.

    • Descend gradually to Pheriche.

    • Enjoy the lower altitude.

    Overnight stay in Pheriche.

11. Day 11: Trek to Namche Bazaar

    • Follow the valley down through Pangboche and Tengboche.

    • Re-enter forested trails with glimpses of the high peaks.

    • Arrive in Namche for a well-deserved rest.

12. Day 12: Trek to Lukla

    • Descend via the same trail following the Dudh Koshi River.

    • Cross suspension bridges and pass small villages.

    • Arrive in Lukla and reflect on the trek.

    • Celebrate with your guide and porters.

13. Day 13: Fly to Kathmandu

    • Take an early morning flight to Kathmandu.

    • Enjoy free time for rest or local sightseeing.

    • Attend an optional farewell dinner.

    • Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport.
