Day 1 – Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400 m)
- Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu.
- Transfer to hotel by our representative.
- Free time to rest and recover from travel fatigue.
- Evening introductory briefing covering journey overview, route conditions, altitude awareness, and important guidelines.
- Opportunity to meet fellow pilgrims.
Dinner and Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 – Kathmandu: Temple Visits and Yatra Preparation
- After breakfast, visit Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva.
- Continue to Boudhanath Stupa, a major center of Tibetan Buddhism.
- Afternoon reserved for yatra preparation, document verification, final packing, and optional shopping for cold-weather gear.
- Evening health and safety briefing conducted by the Yatra leader, covering travel plans and important guidelines.
Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 3 – Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,460 m, 6–7 hours)
- Depart early morning for Syabrubesi, the gateway to the Nepal–China border.
- Enjoy a scenic drive along rivers, terraced hillsides, rural villages, and winding mountain roads.
- Stop for lunch en route.
- Arrive in Syabrubesi by evening.
- Take a short walk to stretch after the long drive and explore the small town bustling with yatris, trekkers, locals, guides, and porters.
- Optional visit to a local temple for light activity.
Overnight at hotel/guesthouse in Syabrubesi.

Day 4 – Syabrubesi to Kerung (2,700 m, 4–5 hours)
- After breakfast, drive to the Rasuwagadhi border.
- Complete exit formalities on the Nepal side and enter the Tibet Autonomous Region.
- Finish immigration procedures and continue driving to Kerung.
- Experience the first significant altitude gain of the journey.
- The remainder of the day is kept light for acclimatization.
Overnight stay at hotel/guesthouse in Kerung.

Day 5 – Acclimatization Day at Kerung
- Full day dedicated to acclimatization.
- Take short walks around Kerung to help the body adjust to altitude.
- Guidance provided on hydration, breathing, and rest by the team.
- Monitor health conditions throughout the day.
- This day is crucial for reducing the risk of altitude sickness in the following days.
Overnight stay at hotel/guesthouse in Kerung.

Day 6 – Kerung to Saga (4,450 m, 6–7 hours)
- Drive into the Tibetan Plateau, enjoying breathtaking views of snow-covered peaks, grasslands, and nomadic settlements.
- Lunch served en route.
- Arrive in Saga; rest and avoid exertion due to significant altitude increase.
- Oxygen support available if required.
- Stay in frequent contact with the trip leader and report health status.
- Note: From this day onwards, the region poses higher risk of altitude sickness.
Overnight stay in Saga.

Day 7 – Saga to Lake Mansarovar (4,590 m, 6–7 hours)
- Drive towards the sacred Lake Mansarovar, one of the highest freshwater lakes in the world.
- En route, weather permitting, catch the first distant view of Mount Kailash.
- Arrive at Mansarovar in the afternoon.
- Perform holy rituals, meditation, and prayers by the lakeside.
- Optional special puja ceremony can be conducted today.
- The serene surroundings provide a deeply spiritual atmosphere.
Overnight stay near Lake Mansarovar.

Day 8 – Lake Mansarovar to Darchen (4,575 m, 2–3 hours)
- Early morning spiritual activities at Lake Mansarovar, including holy bathing and prayer rituals (weather permitting).
- After breakfast, drive to Darchen, the base camp of Mount Kailash.
- Afternoon spent resting and preparing for the upcoming Kailash Kora (parikrama).
- Acclimatize and adjust to high altitude.
Overnight stay in Darchen.

Day 9 – Darchen to Dirapuk – Kora Day 1 (12 km; 4,900 m; 5–6 hours)
- Drive a short distance to Yam Dwar, the official starting point of the Kailash Kora.
- Yam Dwar marks the “Gateway of the God of Death”, the spiritual threshold of the parikrama.
- Begin a gentle trek along the Lha Chu River through a wide valley.
- Enjoy stunning views of Mount Kailash’s western and northern faces.
- Observe prayer flags, mani stones, and sacred landmarks along the route.
- Reach Dirapuk Monastery by afternoon for a close-up view of the north face.
- Evening spent reflecting on Day 1 and resting for the next challenging day.

Day 10 – Dirapuk to Zutulpuk via Dolma La Pass – Kora Day 2 (22 km; 5,630 m; 8–9 hours)
- Begin early morning ascent to Dolma La Pass, the highest and most challenging point of the Kora.
- Trek is steep and demanding, requiring slow and steady walking.
- At the pass, witness prayer flags fluttering in strong winds and offer prayers for strength and blessings.
- Crossing Dolma La symbolizes spiritual death and rebirth.
- Descend carefully to Gauri Kund, a sacred lake associated with Goddess Parvati.
- Continue through rugged terrain to Zutulpuk, completing the longest and most transformative day of the Kora.

Day 11 – Zutulpuk to Saga – Kora Completion (8 km; 4,450 m; 10 hours trek + drive)
Complete the final, relatively easy section of the Kora.
Upon reaching the endpoint, board the vehicle and drive back to Saga.
Celebrate the successful completion of the sacred yatra with fellow pilgrims.
Spend the evening resting and sharing experiences from the journey.

Day 12 – Saga to Kerung
Begin the return journey through the Tibetan Plateau.
Enjoy the gradual descent to help the body recover from high altitude.
Arrive in Kerung by evening and rest for the night.

Day 13 – Kerung to Kathmandu
After breakfast, cross the Nepal–China border and drive back to Kathmandu.
Arrive by evening and enjoy a farewell dinner to celebrate the successful completion of the yatra.
Receive the certificate of trip completion from the Holy Kailash Tour Official.
