Itinerary

Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu
Arrive at the Tribhuwan International Airport which will be marked as the first day. You will have the representative waiting for you at the airport, to welcome you and then you will be dropped off at your hotel.
Overnight in the hotel, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

Kathmandu to Pokhara (910m) Duration: 6 hours drive
Get picked up by your guide at the hotel at in the early morning and escort you to the bus station. The tourist bus to Pokhara usually leaves at around 7:30 am. The scenery along the bus journey is very beautiful where you will see pretty terrace-farms of the countryside, and massive hills covered with verdant forests.
Upon arrival in Pokhara, you will check-in at the hotel, and in the evening, you may enjoy a leisurely boat ride on the beautiful Fewa Lake and see the reflection of Mount Machhapuchhre and the Annapurna Range on the crystal clear water of the Lake.

Pokhara to Tikhedhunga (1570m) Duration: 1 hour drive and 4 walking
On this day, begin your trek at Nayapul after an hour’s drive on a private vehicle from Pokhara.
After a short 15-minute walk along the banks of the Modi Khola, reach Birethanti (1,015m), a large village with many shops and teahouses.
From there, the trail continues through the village and follows along the north bank of the Bhurungdi Khola. The trail climbs steadily up the side of the valley to Hille at 1,495m and after a short climb, you shall reach Tikhedhunga situated at the elevation 1,570m. The walk is relatively short and easy, a prelude to the trekking experience in the Annapurna region.

Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2850m) Duration: 7-8 hours walking
From Tikhe Dhunga, the trail crosses a jovial stream via a suspension bridge near the campsite at Tikhe Dhunga. The trail ascends up a steep stone staircase (which has about 3300 steps) to the large Magar village of Ulleri at 2080m. Above the village, the trail climbs gently through emerald pastures and cultivated fields. There is a campsite for rest and a water-stop one hour’s walk above Ulleri. The trail crosses two sparkling streams before making a short, final climb to Nangethanti where you shall stop for lunch. In winters, the trail can be covered with snow.
From Nangethanti, climb to Ghorepani at 2850m, and from here, you can see the spectacular panorama of Dhaulagiri I (8167m), Nilgiri (6940m) Annapurna I (8091m) Hiunchuli (6441m) and more.

Hike up to Poon Hill (3,210m/10529ft) and onto Tadapani (2,610m/8560ft) Duration: 7 hours walking
This morning, get up early and hike to Poon Hill (3,210m/10529ft). From here, you will see a glorious view of the sunrise and a panoramic view of the Himalayas, including Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Fishtail, and others.
After visiting Poonhill, come back to Ghorepani, have a hot breakfast, and continue walking to Tadapani.

Tadapani to Pokhara (910m) Duration: 7 hours walking and 1 hour drive
From Tadapani the trail descends through rich forests to Ghandruk, a village of the Gurung people, one of the ethnic groups of Nepal. From Ghandruk village, easy walk downhill to Nayapul from where you will take a short drive to Pokhara.

Pokhara to Kathmandu (1337m) Duration: 6 hours drive
A beautiful scenic drive back to Kathmandu will be taken, where you will see the natural beauty of the land; with wide-open spaces enclosed with massive hills and along long stretches of highway.

Farewell
Approximately 3 hours before the scheduled flight, the Nepali trekking guide will take you to the airport for your onward journey.
