The itinerary

1
Day 01

Arrival in Kathmandu and Thamel Orientation

  • Your tour representative will welcome you at Tribhuvan International Airport and receive you upon arrival. From there, you will take a short drive to your hotel.
  • After you freshen up, you will visit the office located in Thamel to discuss the trip and routes. Then, your representative will take you around Thamel and introduce you to the necessary shops, ATMs, and other useful places. In the evening, a welcome dinner will be hosted at the hotel, where you will be served Nepali cuisine.

Day 02

Kathmandu Valley Heritage Sightseeing

  • A day in Kathmandu Valley will be a mesmerizing and delightful experience as you make a full-day trip around Kathmandu Valley, including its twin sister cities, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur.
  • You will visit the important places of these three cities, including the Seven Monument Zones: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, and Changu Narayan, along with many more sites.

Day 03

Travel to Pokhara and Valley Exploration

  • You will drive or fly to Pokhara according to your preference. The flight takes about 25 minutes, and the scenic views of mountains, lands, and villages make the journey especially interesting. You can also take a deluxe tourist bus, which takes around 6-7 hours to reach Pokhara. If you are keen on seeing landscapes, terraced fields, rivers, villages, and more, this route is an excellent choice.
  • After reaching Pokhara, you will drive to different places such as Fewa Lake, Begnas Lake, Devi's Falls, Gupteshwor Mahadev Temple, Mahendra Cave, and the Peace Pagoda. Pokhara, the city of lakes, will make your visit to Nepal memorable.

Day 04

Drive to Phedi and Trek to Deurali

  • Early in the morning, after breakfast, you will take an hour's drive to Phedi. From Phedi, an adventurous journey begins along slightly widening paths. The trail passes through beautiful typical villages, terraced lands, streams, and forests before reaching Dhampus.
  • You will have lunch at tea houses in Dhampus, where typical Nepali food, dumplings, and noodles are served. It takes about 4-5 hours to reach Deurali from Phedi. Deurali is a small village located on the ridge of Annapurna South, Mardi Himal, and Machhapuchhre (Fish-Tail). The day ends with an overnight stay in Deurali village.

Day 05

Trek from Deurali to Forest Camp

  • The trail passes through dotted pine trees, and the forests shine with blooming rhododendrons. Rhododendron, the national flower of Nepal, blossoms during March, April, and May, which are also among the best months for trekking.
  • The route from Deurali to Forest Camp lets you dive into the lap of nature. From this range, the tree lines begin to grow thinner. The trek ends after reaching Forest Camp.

Day 06

Forest Camp to Low Camp with Mountain Views

  • From this section of the trek, mesmerizing scenes of high hills, dense forests, shrubs, and kharkas (campsites) begin to unfold. You will be allured by the panoramas of snowcapped mountains, high hills, and Himalayan ranges.
  • You will also be astonished by the beautiful sight of Machhapuchhre, or Fish-Tail Mountain, at dawn and dusk.

Day 07

Low Camp to High Camp through Alpine Scenery

  • The captivating scenery, breathtaking sights, and risky trails heighten the adventure as you continue from Low Camp. Isolated rhododendrons, shrubs, and snowcapped mountains enrich the natural beauty along the way.
  • You might also spot the pheasant, or Danphe, the national bird of Nepal, on this trail. South Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, and Himchuli, along with Ghandruk Village, Fishtail Base Camp, and Chhomrong village, can be seen from this route. To help ensure your health, you will be advised to drink more water and walk less in order to avoid high-altitude sickness.

Day 08

High Camp to Upper Viewpoint and Back

  • The trail continues from High Camp toward Mardi Himal Base Camp via Upper Viewpoint, with a walk of about 2-3 hours. The trail is well established, widening, steep, and full of thrill.
  • After the effort and passion of the climb, Mardi Himal Base Camp rewards you with breathtaking experiences.
  • From here, you will see Mardi Himal (5587 m), Annapurna I (8091 m), Annapurna South (7219 m), Hiunchuli (6441 m), Baraha Shikhar (Mt. Fang) (7647 m), Tent Peak (5695 m), Singhachuli (6501 m), Machapuchhre (6993 m), and others from very near.
  • Afterward, you will return to High Camp for an overnight stay.

Day 09

Descend to Sidhing Village and Return to Pokhara

  • You will hike down to Siding village, then drive back to Pokhara by private vehicle and stay overnight in Pokhara.

Day 10

Return to Kathmandu and Farewell Dinner

  • After breakfast, you will drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus and take part in a farewell dinner.

Day 11

Departure from Kathmandu

  • Your tour representative will drop you at Tribhuvan International Airport and see you off for your final departure.
