Itinerary

1. Day 1 – Kathmandu to Lukla and Trek to Phakding (2,610 m / 8,563 ft)

   • Take an early morning scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla Airport, renowned for its breathtaking Himalayan views.

   • Meet your guide and porter in Lukla. Prepare trekking gear and start the trek.

   • Trek from Lukla to Phakding, passing through small villages, suspension bridges, and pine forests.

   Overnight stay in a teahouse in Phakding.

2. Day 2 – Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m / 11,286 ft)

   • Begin the trek through the Dudh Koshi River valley.

   • Cross several suspension bridges, including the famous Hillary Suspension Bridge.

   • Ascend steadily to Namche Bazaar, the main Sherpa hub and gateway to the Everest region.

   Overnight stay in Namche Bazaar.

3. Day 3 – Acclimatization in Namche Bazaar: Hike to Hotel Everest View

   • Spend the day acclimatizing to the altitude.

   • Hike to Hotel Everest View to enjoy panoramic views of Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, and surrounding peaks.

   • Explore Namche Bazaar, its local market, and cafes.

   Overnight stay in Namche Bazaar.

4. Day 4 – Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,860 m / 12,664 ft)

   • Trek through rhododendron forests and pass traditional Sherpa villages.

   • Visit Tengboche Monastery, the largest monastery in the Khumbu region.

   • Admire stunning views of Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and Everest from the monastery.

   Overnight stay in Tengboche.

5. Day 5 – Tengboche to Dingboche (4,360 m / 14,300 ft)

   • Descend gently into the Imja Khola valley before gradually ascending to Dingboche.

   • Observe the changing vegetation and rugged terrain as altitude increases.

6. Day 6 – Acclimatization in Dingboche: Hike to Nangkartshang Peak

   • Hike to Nangkartshang Peak to aid acclimatization and enjoy panoramic mountain vistas.

   • Return to Dingboche for rest and preparation for higher altitude trekking.

   Overnight stay in Dingboche.

7. Day 7 – Dingboche to Lobuche (4,940 m / 16,210 ft)

   • Trek through the Khumbu Glacier region and moraine valleys.

   • Observe Everest, Lhotse, and Nuptse from various viewpoints along the trail.

   Overnight stay in Lobuche.

8. Day 8 – Lobuche to Everest Base Camp (5,364 m / 17,598 ft) via Gorak Shep and Return

   • Trek to Gorak Shep, the last settlement before Everest Base Camp.

   • Continue to Everest Base Camp and experience the awe-inspiring Khumbu Glacier and surrounding peaks.

   • Return to Gorak Shep for overnight stay.

9. Day 9 – Hike to Kala Patthar (5,545 m / 18,192 ft) and Descend to Lobuche

   • Ascend early to Kala Patthar for a spectacular sunrise and panoramic views of Mount Everest and surrounding mountains.

   • Descend to Lobuche for overnight stay.

10. Day 10 – Lobuche to Phortse (3,810 m / 12,500 ft)

    • Trek down through the Khumbu valley, enjoying views of Ama Dablam and other peaks.

    • Visit small Sherpa villages along the way.

    Overnight stay in Phortse.

11. Day 11 – Phortse to Khumjung (3,780 m / 12,400 ft)

    • Trek through picturesque villages and terraced fields.

    • Observe local Sherpa culture and traditions.

    Overnight stay in Khumjung.

12. Day 12 – Khumjung to Jorsalle (2,740 m / 8,990 ft)

    • Descend gradually through lush forests and small settlements.

    • Cross suspension bridges and enjoy views of rivers and mountains.

    Overnight stay in Jorsalle.

13. Day 13 – Jorsalle to Lukla (2,860 m / 9,383 ft)

    • Trek back to Lukla, completing the return journey.

    • Celebrate the completion of the Everest Base Camp trek with your guide and fellow trekkers.

14. Day 14 – Morning Flight to Kathmandu and Hotel Drop

    • Take a morning scenic flight from Lukla to Kathmandu.

    • Transfer to your hotel for rest or further exploration of Kathmandu city.

    • Conclude the Everest Base Camp trek with memories of the Himalayas, Sherpa culture, and the adventure of a lifetime.
