Day-1: Pay a visit to Chitwan expand_more
The staff will receive you upon your arrival at Sauraha Bus Stand, Tadi or Bharatpur Airport (Surcharge).
Then, you will be transferred to the lodge, where you will be offered refreshments & be given a briefing on the lodge & its facilities. After being given your programmes for the day, your room will be allocated to you.
13.00: Eat lunch.
15.00: Do a village tour to a nearby ethnic Tharu village, where you will learn more about the life and lifestyle of the Tharus.
Visit the Chitwan National Park Visitor’s Centre, where you can learn more about the history of the National Park and wildlife & get a sunset view from the bank of Rapti River.
19.00: Attend the Tharu cultural dance presentation (which you will also participate in) by the local villagers or slide show presentation on almost everything under the Chitwan.
20.00: Unwind with dinner.

Day-2: Activities doing at Chitwan National Park expand_more
06.00: Get a wake-up call. Eat breakfast.
07.00: Take a canoe ride along the Rapti River. An excellent opportunity for bird watching and for seeing the 2 rare species of crocodiles: the Marsh Mugger and the fish-eating Gharial. Enjoy a jungle walk and on the way back, one can enjoy the elephant bathing view.
13.00: Savour lunch.
15.00: Embark on an elephant safari. An excellent opportunity to see four different kinds of deer, rhinoceros, wild bore, monkey, leopard, sloth bear and the Royal Bengal Tiger (If you are lucky). You will also encounter many other smaller mammals that have made Chitwan their home.
20.00: Unwind with dinner.

Day-3: Drive to Kathmandu expand_more
6:00: Get a wake-up call. Eat breakfast.
07.00: Visit the Government Elephant Breeding Centre.
10.00: Depart for the onward journey.

- Chitwan Jungle Safari packages offer a wilderness of rich ecosystem that includes mammals, birds, reptiles and water animals of several kinds. The highlights of this park are the 500 Asian one-horned rhinoceros and some hundred nocturnal Royal Bengal tigers that live in the park's dense forests. You will discover a lost world of towering trees and twisting vines, of pre-historic rhinos and lumbering elephants, crocodiles, pythons and deer; brilliantly coloured birds and if you are fortunate – the superb Royal Bengal Tiger. Sharing a home with these are other animals like rhesus monkeys, grey langurs, deer, leopards wild cats, etc. Another important factor adding to the Chitwan experience is the colourful Tharu Culture, their way of living, culture and tradition and heart-touching Tharu Dance. Here, you will do many activities like jungle safari on the elephant back, jungle walk, canoe ride, and much more.
