Itinerary

1. Day 1. Arrival in San Pedro Sula: Settle in and get comfortable.

   Transport from the airport to the City of San Pedro Sula (Around 30 min. from Ramón Villeda Morales Airport)

   • Check-in a dreamy, beautiful eco-village in the heart of the Honduran jungle
   • Welcome from the host, settle in & get comfortable. 
   • Greeting Dinner at a local restaurant with a beautiful view and local musicians.

2. Day 2. Jungle Exploration Day: Let’s start our adventure in the Cusuco National Park

   Breakfast in Jungle Hotel, 7:00 - 8:30 am

   • Indulge in a healthy tropical breakfast featuring organic gourmet coffee. 
   • Depart for the adventure to Parque Nacional Cusuco going up the Mountain Range El Merendón that surrounds San Pedro Sula and immersing in the exotic landscapes of the jungle, crossing rivers and going a bit off-road. 
   • We will start by exploring a picturesque hydrangea farm which is grown and harvested by a local indigenous community of agricultural producers, nestled in the middle of the mountains offering breathtaking natural landscapes. 
   • Enjoy a delicious and from farm to table catered lunch in the middle of nature spiced with local specialties.
   • After lunch we will start our jungle exploration with a forest ranger specialized in the area, guiding us on a hike through Las Minas, Macrín, Pizote, and Danto trails.
   • Do stretching & mindfulness in the jungle to level up your experience!
   • Our final but most amazing hike stop in this journey will be to marvel in the beauty and serenity of El Quetzal waterfall which is hidden deep within the national park & surrounded by exotic tropical nature and fauna.
   • Return to accommodation in San Pedro Sula with unforgettable memories and conclude the day with a lavish dinner savoring the traditional flavors of the Honduran cuisine.

3. Day 3. Journey to Tela: Stop by a Cacao Farm Plantation and Search for Gold with Locals

   Breakfast in Jungle Hotel, 7:00 – 9:00 am

   • Start your day with a scrumptious & healthy breakfast at the hotel, do some morning walking to stretch, meditate or/and meet for a morning yoga session if desired.
   • Get in our local transportation shuttle service and start our journey through the Caribbean coastline of Honduras making our first stop near Tela in a Cacao Farm Plantation where you can visit different trails, watch tropical birds, monkeys, and other types of animals.
   • For lunch, let’s delight in a healthy and organic barbeque surrounded by nature and soothing sounds of the water flowing through the rivers beside the property. 
   • After lunch, we will join a local community of gold finders and we will try to extract gold from the river with them through their artisanal and very traditional method.
   • Arriving in Tela: Settle in and get comfortable in a beach side accommodation in Tela Bay
     Take this afternoon off to relax on the beach, meditate, recover and connect with others.

   • Wrapping-up Day 3

   Enjoy a beautiful sunset at the beach and get prepared for a healthy dinner served at the hotel.

   Optional: Indulge in massage and sauna services to treat yourself to a pampering session.

4. Day 4. Discovering a Protected Tropical Treasure Paradise: Punta Sal National Park

   Breakfast in Beach Hotel, 7:00 – 8:30 am

   • Start the day with a powerful meditation and yoga practice. 
   • Enjoy a nurturing, tropical and healthy breakfast done with local fresh ingredients of the best quality. 

   Journey to Punta Sal National Park

   Discover the very best of both coastal marine and tropical forest ecosystems, an excursion of preservation of natural diversity & culture.

   • The excursion starts boarding a small boat at a dock in Tela where we meet with the local expert tour guides of this tour.
   • It will take around 30 minutes to get to this marvelous virgin lush tropical beach & jungle paradise which is a protected natural park in the Tela area.
   • As we disembark the boat, we will start exploring the area through a hike in the jungle, passing by howler and white face monkeys, visiting natural water caves, lush untouched nature and we will spot a few places where famous pirates from the Caribbean are said to have hidden very valuable treasures and to this date haven’t been discovered.
   • The guides will educate you about the endemic flora and fauna from the area as we go through the journey and you will get a good amount of healthy exercise done, walking through the wild natural trails and breathing pure fresh air. 
   • After the hike, we will go to another side of the Natural Reserve where the only Garifuna family that lives in this place will cook a delicious & tropical Garifuna style lunch with fresh local ingredients grown in the area.

   Wrapping-up Day 4

   • In the afternoon, enjoy swimming and snorkeling through the stunning virgin beach of Punta Sal before we board back again in our little boat to return to our accommodation.
   • Arriving in Tela: Go back to your lodging, have a shower or take a rest and get ready for a dinner night out around Tela town. 
   • Let’s end the night with a delicious and fine dinner at the beach in a relaxed and magical atmosphere.

5. Day 5. Journey through Honduras’ largest and most famous Botanical Garden “Lancetilla”, visit the Tela Aquarium and spend a philanthropic afternoon in a Garifuna village

   Breakfast with a view, 7:00 – 9:00 am

   • Start the day with a powerful meditation and yoga practice at the beach if desired. 
   • Delight with a healthy tropical breakfast at a rooftop restaurant overlooking the shoreline & the whole town.
   • Take a luxury shuttle service to Lancetilla Botanical Garden.

   Lancetilla Botanical Garden: Hiking through the Second Largest Botanical Garden in the World

   • We will immerse in the natural wonders of this tropical paradise where its diverse habitats enclose a great variety of wildlife and natural wonders. 
   • The diverse habitats that are found within the reserve are full of history and serve as home to many endemic species from this area.
   • After our hike through this natural sanctuary, we will go for a local Honduran lunch and then we will visit the Tela Aquarium for about 1 hour.

   Philanthropic Afternoon: The Art of Giving ?

   Garifuna villages are one of Tela’s most beautiful attractions. Not only because of their amazing ecological beauty but because it holds the culture of the Garifunas, one of the most relevant, influential and well-known ethnic groups in Honduras.

   • Visit the Garifuna village in Tela doing a philanthropic mission sponsored by us.
   • Shop for school supplies & food in the local market.
   • Deliver supplies to kids and community members in the village. Play with the kids and interact with the community.

   Wrapping-up Day 5

   • After completing our mission, we will return to our accommodation and relax for the rest of the afternoon. Feel free to walk by the beach, enjoy the sunset or swim in the pool.
   • Dinner in an amazing beach location with local traditional music and a relaxing Caribbean vibe.

6. Day 6. Journey to La Ceiba: A treasure trove of Nature, Adventure and Fun

   Breakfast in Beach Hotel, 7:00 am – 9:00 am

   • Start the day with a powerful meditation and yoga practice by the beach if desired.
   • Private luxury shuttle service to the Tourism Capital City of Honduras, “La Ceiba”
   • Enjoy the breathtaking landscape views during the journey that will take around 1.5 hours.

   Arrival to Natural Lodge in jungle forest in La Ceiba

   Upon your arrival at La Ceiba, our friendly guide will greet you and transfer you to your spacious accommodation in a beautiful and majestic jungle lodge. Take in the breathtaking natural views of the exotic tropical nature and settle into your comfortable villa.

   • Settle in and get comfortable, get ready for a small hike through the surroundings to explore the nature in this area.
   • After the hike we will take a break to prepare for our city excursion around downtown and relish a delectable dinner at a local restaurant.
   • After dinner, we will return to our jungle lodge and have a good rest for our next adventure!

7. Day 7. Exploring Cayos Cochinos Natural Reserve : Immersing in Paradise

   Breakfast in Jungle Eco-Lodge, 7:00 – 9:00 am

   • Start the day with a powerful meditation and yoga practice in the jungle if desired.
   • Enjoy your delicious tropical breakfast with delicious organic coffee and local produce.
   • We will take our private local transportation to Sambo Creek Garifuna village and embark on a scenic boat ride to the idyllic islands of Cayos Cochinos, located just off the coast of La Ceiba. 
   • Dive into the crystal-clear waters and snorkel among vibrant coral reefs, encountering marine life. Indulge in a freshly prepared seafood lunch (vegan & vegetarian options available) on the beach, followed by leisurely sunbathing and snorkeling. (Diving packages are optional as add-ons)
   • Return to the jungle lodge in the evening, rest & and prepare for a candlelight dinner amid nature and under the serene atmosphere enjoying the stunning views of the beautiful night sky full of stars in the Caribbean coast.

8. Day 8. Exploring Pico Bonito: Tropical Forest and Waterfall Exploration

   Breakfast in Jungle Eco-Lodge, 7:00 – 9:00 am

   • Start the day with a powerful meditation and yoga practice in the jungle if desired.
   • Enjoy your delicious tropical breakfast with delicious organic coffee and local produce.
   • Get ready for our journey to Pico Bonito National Park in La Ceiba and experience an adrenaline rush as you soar through the lush tropical rainforest on a thrilling adventure.
   • Feel the wind in your hair and marvel at the incredible views across this unforgettable journey. Our private and expert guide will embark with you on a hike through the verdant jungle to discover a hidden waterfall and other natural wonders you will love.
   • Take a refreshing dip in its fresh and clean white river waters, surrounded by nature’s tranquility. (White river rafting tours available as add-ons)
   • We will enjoy an unforgettable picnic in the middle of the jungle, marvel with the surrounding nature, learn about the flora and fauna of this protected area and then return to our lodge.
   • Enjoy a fine dining experience at our jungle lodge with music from local artists.

9. Day 9. Recharge & Renew: Yoga Sessions, Hot Springs & Spa Retreat

10. Day 10. Sustainable Local Experience: Cultural Immersion and Seafood (or Veggie) Feast

    • Start the day with a powerful meditation and yoga practice in the jungle if desired.
    • Enjoy your delicious tropical breakfast with delicious organic coffee and local produce.
    • We will be taking our private transportation to the well-known Garifuna village of Sambo Creek, where you will have a deep & transformative cultural immersion with its community.
    • In this experience you will learn about the Garifuna culture & vibrant traditions, about their music, dance and rituals. You will engage in mind-blowing interactions with this ethnic group, sample traditional cuisine, and immerse yourself in the rhythmic beats of their music: “La Punta”.
    • Enjoy these invaluable moments to the fullest; dance, feed your soul and have lots of fun with this welcoming and warm community!
    • In the evening, savor a delectable seafood feast at a beachside restaurant, relishing the freshest catch of the day with organic & high-quality local produce.
    • After dinner we will be returning to our jungle lodge for a well-deserved rest.

11. Day 11. Exploring Cuero y Salado Natural Reserve: Exploring an untouched Mangrove Lagoon while Watching many Tropical Exotic Birds, Manatees, Monkeys, Bats & More!

    Breakfast in Jungle Eco-Lodge, 7:00 – 9:00 am

    • Start the day with a powerful meditation and yoga practice in the jungle if desired.
    • Enjoy your delicious tropical breakfast with delicious organic coffee and local produce.
    • We will be taking our private transportation to the Cuero y Salado Natural Reserve; this wildlife refuge is specially dedicated to the preservation of the habitat of the endangered manatee and beautiful mangroves. It is located between the area of the Cuero and the Salado Rivers, hence the name of the reserve: Cuero y Salado.
    • To get there, the adventure starts by getting in a ‘burra’ or hand-powered railroad flatcar along the tracks of an old banana train of the Standard Fruit Company (also known as Chiquita Banana), yes, as you hear. This is an experience you will enjoy to the fullest and never forget!
    • Once within the reserve, we will take a boat tour, where with luck we will see different species of monkeys as well as a variety of aquatic and exotic tropical birds. 
    • The park protects about 35 species of animals, including manatees, jaguars, birds, white face monkeys, and other species of monkeys, as well as alligators and a great diversity of fish species.
    • After the boat tour through the water trails in the untouched and well-preserved mangroves, we will enjoy the impressive natural views of this wildlife journey and then we will have time to enjoy connecting with the local community and swim at the beach if desired.

    Wrapping-up Day 11

    • After our exotic exploration, we will return to our accommodation and relax for the rest of the afternoon. Feel free to walk around nature, enjoy the sunset or swim in the pool.
    • Later in the night we will enjoy a fine dining experience with local traditional music and a relaxing Caribbean vibe.

12. Day 12. Next Stop: The Dreamy Paradise Tropical Worldwide Famous Island of Roatán

    Breakfast in Jungle Eco-Lodge, 7:00 – 8:30 am

    • Start the day with a powerful meditation and yoga practice in the jungle if desired.
    • Enjoy your delicious tropical breakfast with delicious organic coffee and local produce.
    • Our private transportation shuttle will take us to the Ferry Dock 'Muelle de Cabotaje' in La Ceiba or to the local airport if your preferred transportation method is by airplane.

    Arriving in Roatán: Settle in and get comfortable in a luxury beach villa.

    Roatán is an exquisite island located off the coast of Honduras, it offers an abundance of adventures amidst its pristine beaches and breathtaking landscapes. During this enchanting 3-day escape on the island, you will have the opportunity to indulge in a variety of mesmerizing experiences.

    • Upon our arrival at this beautiful island, we will take a private shuttle to our accommodation, relax and settle down.
    • We will enjoy a delicious and nutritious fresh meal at the beach with breathtaking views of the pristine clear water on the shoreline.
    • After lunch we will explore downtown, the island center, which is known as Coxen Hole, and wander around exploring the best that this magical & timeless island has to offer and learning a bit about its history, culture and traditions. 
    • We will end our night in the well-known nightlife area of the island: West End, where we will have some freshly prepared dinner in a very breeze and laid back atmosphere in a beachy & delightful restaurant over the water.
    • After dinner we have the option to go around bar hopping and experience a bit of the night life in this charming island or you can be transferred back to our accommodation if preferred.

13. Day 13. The Eastern Connection: An off-the-beaten path luxury fishing experience

    Breakfast in Luxury Resort, 5:00 – 8:30 am

    • Note: It is possible & recommended to leave earlier to this experience if desired, you can leave as early as possible to catch the change of tide around 5:00 am and get better results at fishing and exploring the island by boat. We will have enough snacks, drinks and food on board!
    • If you would like to take it slower, start the day with a powerful meditation and yoga practice on the beach if desired.
    • Enjoy your delicious breakfast with delicious organic coffee and local produce.
    • We will be walking to a pick-up point where we will take a private charter boat and we will start the expedition around the island. (This tour will take around 6 – 10 hours)
    • For those with a passion for fishing, during parts of the trip you will cast your line in search of the finest catch; tuna, red snapper, yellow snapper, barracuda, wahoo or who knows. If you’re not as an experienced fisherman as you would like, our skilled crew will teach and guide you through the process, ensuring a memorable and rewarding experience. 
    • Once you’ve reeled in your prize, savor the satisfaction of knowing that the seafood you feast upon is the result of your own efforts. 
    • Immerse yourself in the awe-inspiring marine world by swimming and snorkeling (diving is optional) through the 2nd largest barrier reef of the world.
    • To truly indulge in the island’s culinary delights, we will lunch at St. Helene, a very remote fishing village where they will cook your catch and accompany it with local flavors such as rice & beans, coleslaw, and plantain chips! 
    • As you explore Roatan, venture beyond the well-trodden path and discover secluded corners of the island that are rarely frequented by tourists. 
    • Visit hidden gems like Pigeon cays, Butterfly Bay or Jade Beach, a tranquil and secluded beach where you can bask in the sun and enjoy the serenity of the surroundings undisturbed. 

    Wrapping-up Day 13

    • After our ultimate island exploration escape, we will wrap up the day resting or celebrating with some drinks by a bonfire at the beach connecting with our guides and locals. Feel free to walk by the beach, enjoy the sunset or swim in the pool.
    • Later in the night we will enjoy a fine dining experience with local traditional music and a relaxing Caribbean vibe on one of the top dining sites in the island.

14. Day 14. Island Farewell Breakfast: Take it slow and easy, relax and pack to go back

    Breakfast in Luxury Resort, 7:00 – 10:30 am

    • Start the day with a powerful meditation and yoga practice on the beach if desired.
    • Enjoy your delicious breakfast with delicious organic coffee and local produce.
    • Our private transportation shuttle will pick us up from our accommodation, take us to a the most beautiful lookout point in the island to take some amazing shots, we will have lunch in the local Garifuna Community of Punta Gorda and then our guide will take us to the airport to catch our very short flight back to San Pedro Sula.

    • Check-in again in the dreamy, beautiful eco-village in the heart of the Honduran jungle in San Pedro Sula
    • Rest a bit, wander around the area & get comfortable. 
    • Prepare to go on a visit to the very famous local art crafts market of San Pedro Sula: Mercado Guamilito, enjoy some local shopping and visit a legendary tobacco shop located just in front of the market if desired.

    Farewell Dinner Party

    • After our last stop in the Industrial Capital of Honduras, we will return to our eco-lodge and have a well-deserved wrap-up dinner party with local music and delicious traditional specialties. You may also enjoy some artisanal beer which is brewed right in this place.

15. Day 15. Breakfast and Departure: Transfers back to San Pedro Sula Airport (SAP)

    Breakfast in Hotel, 7:00 – 11:30 am

    • Start the day with a powerful meditation and yoga practice if desired.
    • Enjoy your delicious breakfast with delicious organic coffee and local produce of the highest quality.

    Remember to pack everything, including the wonderful memories and let us take you back on a private shuttle transport to the airport of San Pedro Sula for your flight back home.
