Itinerary

1. Day 1- Welcome to Nicaragua

   Airport – Granada

   Meet at the airport and private transfer to the colonial city of Granada. In the evening, we'll enjoy a welcome dinner to get to know each other and discuss the details of this great adventure.

   • Estimated travel time: 1 hour (includes a restroom stop).

   • Accommodation: Hotel in Granada (1 night).

   • Meals included: Welcome dinner.

2. Day 2 - Granada – Masaya – León.

   Granada-Masaya-Leon

   After a delicious traditional breakfast, at 8:00 AM we set out to explore the highlights of Granada and its surroundings. We'll enjoy excellent panoramic views and the opportunity to purchase local art, all guided by our team of experts. In the late afternoon, we travel to the city of León.

   • Accommodation: Hotel in León (1 night).

   • Meals included: Breakfast.

   Included Activities:

   • Boat tour of the Islets of Granada.

   • Visit to the Catarina Viewpoint and Handicraft Market.

   • Experience in Masaya Volcano National Park.

3. Day 3 - Colonial History in León & Optional Activities

   Full day in León.

   • Accommodation: Hotel in León (1 night).

   • Meals included: Breakfast.

   • Included Activity (Half day): Historical City Walk

   After breakfast, your expert guide will pick you up to explore modern-day León and its fascinating history. We will visit the interior and roof of the León Cathedral Basilica (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), the Central Market, the iconic Murals of the Revolution, the Rubén Darío Museum and Archive, and the renowned Ortiz-Gurdián Art Gallery.

   Optional Afternoon Activities:

   Option 1: Sandboarding Adventure at Cerro Negro Volcano

   A 40-minute 4x4 ride to the base of Central America's youngest volcano to glide across the ash of an active volcano!

   • Duration: Half day
   • Price: $55 per person (Minimum 3 people). 
   • Includes: Entrance fees, 4x4 transportation, certified guide, safety equipment, sandboard, and fresh fruit.

   Option 2: Premium Tour at Flor de Caña Rum Factory

   A tour of 6 interactive stations to learn about the history and process of the world's most awarded rum.

   • Duration: 1 hour and 30 minutes. 
   • Price: $50 per person (Minimum 4 people). 
   • Includes: Brand guide, tasting of Flor de Caña 18-year-old rum, and a complimentary shot of Flor de Caña 12-year-old rum. Subject to weekend availability and prior reservation.

4. Day 4 - Heart and Coast Route (Social Inclusion and Beach Destination)

   León – Granada (Social Project) – San Juan del Sur.

   We depart León for Granada to visit an extraordinary initiative that empowers deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals through employment opportunities; a truly moving experience. In the afternoon, we'll travel to the Pacific coast to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of San Juan del Sur. We'll end our last night with a farewell dinner overlooking the sea, sharing memories and laughter.

   • Accommodation: Hotel in San Juan del Sur (1 night).

   • Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Farewell Dinner.

   Included Activities:

   • Cultural visit and lunch at Café de las Sonrisas.

   • Visit to the Cristo de la Misericordia viewpoint.

5. Day 5 - Farewell to San Juan del Sur and Return

   San Juan del Sur – Airport

   The morning begins at a leisurely pace in San Juan del Sur. You'll have free time for a final stroll along its beaches, relaxing in its waterfront cafes, or wandering through its colorful streets. At 1:00 PM, we'll depart in our private transportation for Managua.
