  • Day 1: Airport to Windhoek expand_more
    • Meet the tour guide, who will pick you up from the airport and drop you off at the Windhoek West Guesthouse. 
  • Day 2: Windhoek - Namib Naukluft Park in Namib Desert expand_more
    • Meet the guide at Windhoek West Guesthouse and head out. We drop down from the central plateau to the grassy Namib Desert as we come through the mountains.  
    • Enjoy views of the Eros Mountains and the Khomas Hochland range. Stop at Solitaire for a light lunch.
    • Continue to Sossusvlei Dune Lodge (SDL).
  • Day 3: Sossusvlei expand_more
    • Depart from SDL early start to catch the soft light of the sunrise over Dune 45. 
    • Take a short excursion to Sesriem Canyon with your guide in the afternoon.
  • Day 4: Walvis Bay expand_more
    • Drive through the desert and cross the Tropic of Capricorn and traverse the Gaub and Kuiseb Passes. 
    • Stop at Walvis Bay and enjoy the views of flamingos and other birds.
    • Stay overnight in Swakopmund. (Dinner tonight is at the client's own expense in a local restaurant.)

  • Day 5: Cape Cross expand_more
    • Do an excursion to the seal colony at Cape Cross in the morning and experience thousands of fur seals at close range!
    • Explore the town for the rest of the day. Your Namibian guide will discuss all the possible optional activities with you and offer to make pre-bookings in advance. (Activities in Swakopmund are at your own expense.)
  • Day 6: Etosha National Park expand_more
    • Make a stop at Usakos to fill up the fuel. A light lunch will be served along the way. 
    • Arrive at Okaukuejo in the afternoon. 
    • Explore the surroundings before a late afternoon game drive. 
    • Visit the floodlit waterhole for a chance to see rhinos and lions after dinner.

  • Day 7: Game Drive in Etosha National Park expand_more
    • Spend almost the entire day on game driving. Visit waterholes and Etosha Pan.
    • Do a late afternoon game drive in search of wildlife.
    • Return to the camp, enjoy a glass of wine and experience a fabulous sunset from the tower of the old German fort before dinner.
  • Day 8: Etosha to Windhoek expand_more
    • Enjoy a scenic transit back to Windhoek. 
    • Pass through towns and rural areas, stopping at the small town of Okahandja, the home of Namibia’s largest wood carving market. The stalls operate on a local co-operative basis and offer a vast array of truly Namibian souvenirs. 
    • Arrive in Windhoek during the late hour of the afternoon. You will be dropped off at your accommodation.
