  • Day 1: Airport to Windhoek expand_more
    • Meet the tour guide, who will pick you up from the Hosea Kutako International Airport. The airport is 45 km outside Windhoek, the capital city of Namibia. It has been a long journey, you will be dropped off at the guest house. 
    • Take a rest, and afterwards, go for a free township tour arranged for the afternoon. (Dinner will be at your own expense at the restaurant of your choice.)

  • Day 2: Windhoek to Sossusvlei expand_more
    • Have breakfast and depart at 9 am on the way south to the world-famous Sossusvlei via picturesque Spreetshoogte Pass. 
    • Make a stop-over at the viewpoint to appreciate the endless view of the Namib Desert. Enjoy a light lunch at the Solitaire oasis. 
    • Arrive at the lodge or campsite at around 3-4 pm. This time is extremely hot, we recommend that you spend the day cooling off by the pool. Early rest is required as tomorrow, you are expected to wake up early in the morning.

  • Day 3: Namib Desert and Sossusvlei Area expand_more
    • Visit the Sesriem Gate early morning to the remarkable Sossusvlei. 
    • Start off with climbing picturesque Dune 45, experiencing the beauty and vastness of the orange-coloured landscape. 
    • Drive to the Dead Vlei, a place of the vast desert pan where dried-up, ancient acacias stand silent in the impressive, open-air gallery. If you have enough energy, you can climb one of the highest dunes on Earth, the 'Big Dad' or 'Big Mama'. 
    • Return back to Sesriem for lunch. We will take a break for 1-2 hours. 
    • Once the heat subsides, we will take a short excursion to Sesriem Canyon. This will be our last activity for the day.

  • Day 4: Sossusvlei, Walvis Bay and Swakopmund expand_more
    • Move from the desert to the sea area. Namibia is a country of contrasts. On our way, we will cross the Tropic of Capricorn and traverse the Gaub, and the Kuiseb passes, driving down to the dry river bed at the bottom of the Kuiseb Canyon before climbing up the other side and watching the spectacular desert landscape unfold before us. 
    • Make a stop in Walvis Bay to enjoy the view of flamingos and other birds in the lagoons. Take a short break for lunch. 
    • Stay overnight in Swakopmund. (Dinner tonight is at the client's own expense in a local restaurant.)

  • Day 5: Swakopmund expand_more
    • Explore the quaint town of Swakopmund. 

    {You may wish to book an optional day tour (on your own account) in Swakopmund (guided tour through the Mondesa township, quad-biking, sand-boarding, a scenic flight over the Skeleton coast or a catamaran cruise in Walvis Bay). Many optional activities are on offer (on your own account); visit the aquarium, various museums or the crystal gallery.}

  • Day 6: Cape Cross and Twyfelfontein expand_more
    • Depart from the coastal town of Swakopmund in the morning to Cape Cross and Cape Fur Seal colony. After visiting the seals, we will turn east into the desert, towards Brandberg Damaraland, one of the most magnificent and majestic places in Namibia. In this area, you can find elephants, giraffes, ostriches and a variety of antelopes!

  • Day 7: Twyfelfontein expand_more
    • Drive through Damaraland and continue to Twyfelfontein. Twyfelfontein is a rocky site situated in the Kunene Region of northwestern Namibia. The site contains around 2,000 rock carvings, and in 2007, UNESCO approved it as a World Heritage Site. The site is one of Africa's largest and most important concentrations of rock art and was proclaimed a National Monument in 1952.
    • Experience cultural and ethnic meetings with the Damara tribe at the Living Museum, surrounded by fascinating nature, rock formations and the magnificent landscape of Damaraland.
    • Visit a Damara village near Twyfelfontein and learn more about the culture of these half-nomadic people. We are expected to arrive in Twyfelfontein around 11:00 to view Bushman's rock painting.

  • Day 8: Arrive in Etosha National Park expand_more
    • Depart from Vingerklip Lodge via Kamanjab (Himba Village) to Etosha National Park.

  • Day 9: Etosha National Park expand_more
    • Opt for an early rise to have a feel of nature and the fresh breeze. Soon after breakfast, we will then start our game drive to allow us to have a magnificent exploration.
    • Visit the waterholes and the Etosha pan (salt pan) before game driving across the park in the expedition of coming across the Big 4 and other animal species. A light lunch will allow us to rest, gathering energy for our next adventure. 
    • Go to our last waterhole, which will be the last appreciation of Namibia’s beauty. 
    • Return to our accommodation place before sunset so that we can have dinner as we share stories of our experiences of the day and also share and compare beautiful photos.

  • Day 10: Etosha to Windhoek expand_more
    • Be prepared for the long, scenic transit back to Windhoek. 
    • Pass through towns and rural areas, stopping in the small town of Okahandja, the home of Namibia’s largest wood carving market. The stalls operate on a local co-operative basis and offer a vast array of truly Namibian souvenirs. 
    • Return to Windhoek in the afternoon before 16:00.
