Itinerary

1. Day 1: Airport to Windhoek

   • Pick up from the airport. 

   • Drive-through Windhoek to Windhoek West Guest House.

   A township tour and dinner will be arranged (at the traveler`s expense).

2. Day 2: Windhoek- Kalahari Desert

   • Depart from Windhoek West Guest House at 08:00 am to the Kalahari Desert. 

3. Day 3: Kalahari - Fish River Canyon/Hobas NWR

   • Encounter the spectacular Fish River Canyon. 

   Meals: D, B, B

4. Day 4: Aus - Luderitz

   • Early morning departure for the short drive to Luderitz. 

   • Travel on the main road and keep a sharp lookout for the unique Namib wild horses. 

   • Visit Kolmanskop, a ghost town where bigger and better diamonds were found along the coast.

   Your Namibian guide will discuss with you activities that can be done in Luderitz at your own expense.

5. Day 5: Aus - Luderitz

   • Early morning departure for the short drive to Luderitz. 

   • Travel on the main road and keep a sharp lookout for the unique Namib wild horses. 

   You can also visit Kolmanskop, a ghost town where bigger and better diamonds were found along the coast. Your guide will discuss with you activities that can be done in Luderitz at your own expense.

6. Day 6: Aus to Sossusveli Dune Lodge

   • Drive towards Sossusvlei Dune Lodge, travelling on small gravel roads and passing some tiny rural communities along the way.

7. Day 7: Sossusvlei

   • Early in the morning, we will visit the Sesriem Gate if we slept outside of the park to go to Sossusvlei.

   • Start off with climbing picturesque Dune 45, experiencing the beauty and vastness of the orange-colored landscape.

   • Drive 5km off-road drive to the Dead Vlei, Big Dad, and Sossusvlei a place of the vast desert pan where dried-up, ancient acacias stand silent in the impressive, open-air gallery.

   • Climb one of the highest dunes called 'Big Daddy’ or 'Big Mama’.

8. Day 8: Windhoek

   • Return to Windhoek.

   • Drop off at Gocheganas Lodge.

9. Day 9: Waterberg Plateau Park

   • Pick up at Gocheganas Lodge at 8:00 am.

   • Stop-over at the craft market in Okahandja.

   • Arrive at Waterberg Plateau Park.

10. Day 10: Waterberg to Etosha National Park

    • Depart from Waterberg Plateau Park to Etosha National Park.

11. Day 11: Tour to Etosha National park

    • Join Halali Game drive/Safari in the morning hours.

    • Return to breakfast after 3 hours of game drive. Etosha National Park is one of the most loved parks in Africa. 

    • After breakfast, we go for a game drive to visit a couple of waterholes in the area of Halali Resort. Lunch will serve at Halali on the client's account.

12. Day 12: Etosha National Park to Twyfelfontein

    • Leaving Etosha National Park, we begin our journey south with a relatively short drive to the small town of Kamanjab. 

    • Around the area, we will visit Himba Village.

13. Day 13: Twyfelfontein

    • Join the Twyfelfontein game drive for looking for Desert Adapted Elephants and all other Wildlife adapted to the desert and afternoon visit the ancient Bushman rock engravings on our own (NTTS). 

14. Day 14: Twyfelfontein to Swakopmund

    • Depart early morning and travel through Brandberg, Namibia's highest mountain.

    • Stopover at Uis, an old mining town. 

    • Travel through Skeleton coast and Henties Bay.

    • Visit Cape Cross. 

    • Arrive at Swakopmund.

15. Day 15: Swakopmund to Windhoek

    • On our way to Windhoek, we make a stop in Usakos to fill up with fuel. Picnic lunch along the way.

    • Arrive in Windhoek in the afternoon hours.
