    • After mid-morning pickup, travel with your guide approximately 24 miles (39 km) south of Ensenada to the Punta Banda peninsula. Along the way, learn general information about Ensenada, different places in the city, and activities in the region. Enjoy the landscapes of the mountains and the Pacific Ocean as you surround the entire bay.
    • Arrive at the town of La Bufadora, walk with your guide about 3 blocks through the market to reach the main event, La Bufadora (hole). Learn from your guide how the air, trapped in a sea cave, causes the water to explode upward, often shooting more than 100 feet (31 meters) above sea level, creating a thunderous noise.
    • Depending on the strength of the waves, this phenomenon repeats every 1-2 minutes, so you can be sure to see La Bufadora in action. Then your guide takes you to a popular sidewalk market for crafts and souvenirs made in Baja California, giving you free time to find fun home decor items and gifts, and / or relax with food and drinks at one of the Nearby restaurants (own expense) offering stunning views of the ocean.
    • You will meet your guide again at 1 pm, to return to your hotel at 2:00 pm You will have bottled water and snacks during the tour.

    The Andalusian Bar is within the facilities of the Ensenada Riviera Social, Civic and Cultural Center. Adorned with a beautiful mural that personifies God Bacchus, an Andalusian guitarist and dancer, he gives life to a bar with original ornaments that describe the activities of the prohibition era in the United States and the main factor for which this beautiful building was built. hotel and casino named "Hotel Playa" at its inauguration on October 31, 1930. It was here at the Andalusian Bar, where the popular and world famous drink "Margarita" was invented, on August 21, 1948 by Mr. David Negrete, in honor of the owner of the Hotel Riviera, Mrs. Marjorie or "Margarita" King Plant. It currently functions as a bar, being one of the oldest in Ensenada. It has its own parking lot and every Wednesday there is the promotion of the traditional "Margarita".

Health Policy

  • Before starting the tour, the guide/driver will inform the participants about the hygiene protocols.

  • Before entering the vehicle the guide/driver will measure the body temperature with an infrared thermometer to each participant. A measurement greater than 37.5 C or 99.5 F will be considered as fever and you won't be able to take the tour.

  • If any of the participants have the following symptoms: fever, fatigue, dry cough and shortness of breath, then you will be informed that you will not be able to participate in the tour.

  • It's participants' responsibility to inform if he/she was in contact with a person with covid19 in the last 5 days, and he/she won't be able to take the tour. 

  • Before, during and at the end of the route, you will be provided with antibacterial gel with a minimum alcohol concentration of 70%.

  • Before, during and at the end of the tour, the appropriate use of the face mask shall be reviewed.

  • The vehicle will be sanitized with germicide spray at every stop during the tour after the participants leave the vehicle.

  • If at any stop the facility seems to be very crowded, the guide/driver must make a visual evaluation of the risk of contagion before the participants enter and decide actions to minimize the risk of contagion.

  • Participants will be asked to avoid direct contact with surfaces exposed to contamination.

  • At the end of the tour, the vehicle will be cleaned, sanitized and disinfected.

DIRECTIONS TO GET TO THE CENTRO CULTURAL RIVIERA simply walk straight from the cruise ship dock towards the direction of the town (about 15 min), cross the main street with the name Ave. Lazaro Cardenas, and you will find the Riviera Center in front of you. It's a big white colonial style building.
