• Head first to Mercado Central, where your guide will show you the stands selling ingredients you will use during the class. Admire the fresh fruit and vegetables sold and purchase everything you need.

• Discover Witch Doctor Market, where you will see all kind of roots, flowers, petals and even insects that serve amazing medicinal purposes.

• Stop by a tortilla factory where you will purchase authentic tortillas to be used during the class.

• Proceed to the restaurant to begin your cooking class. Your chefs will share with you some of their own family recipes and cooking techniques, and you will enjoy some delicious dishes made for special celebrations. Your chefs will demonstrate the step-by-step preparation of the famous carne a la tampiqueña: tacos, enchiladas, beans, rice, and guacamole, accompanied by fresh cheese and sour cream. You will be treated like a family member on this private cooking tour and end the tour eating what you cook during the class!
