Description
Start your magical Mexico tour with a boat cruise in the majestic Sumidero Canyon. Then taken in the colonial favour at Chiapa de Corzo, visit the scenic waterfalls at El Chiflón and marvel at the sparkly blue lakes of Lagunas de Montebello National Park. Go rural at the Mayan-Toztzil village and interact with the indigenous communities to make the local textile and Pox, a brandy made from corn!

Day 1: Tuxtla Gutiérrez - Sumidero Canyon - Chiapa de Corzo
- You will be picked up from Tuxtla Gutiérrez airport. Begin your adventure by going to the majestic Sumidero Canyon for a boat tour in the Grijalva river where you can observe its magnificent flora (ceibas, mulattoes, etc.), fauna (spider monkey, crocodiles, herons) and its imposing walls which are over 1100 metres tall.
- Later, visit the magical town of Chiapa de Corzo, the first colonial city founded by Diego de Mazariegos. Here, you can see the temple of Santo Domingo, its colonial fountain and the artisan walker. It is worth mentioning that the town is famous for its typical costumes such as the Parachico and the Chiapanecas.
- Transfer to San Cristóbal de Las Casas.

Day 2: El Chiflón - Lagunas de Montebello National Park
- Have breakfast at the hotel. At 7:30 AM, meet in the hotel lobby
- Drive to the ecotourism center 'El Chiflón', where you will take a walk through its three waterfalls; El Suspiro, Alas de Ángel and Velo de Novia. Observe the extensive vegetation within the surroundings and you can participate in activities such as zip-lining (activity not included in the price).
- Continue your tour to the Lagunas de Montebello National Park, where you will be able to access 12 of its 59 lakes characterised by the varied tones that they offer us. Among them, there is an international lake which borders with Guatemala
- Finally, transfer to the hotel in San Cristóbal de Las Casas.

Day 3: Mayan-Tzotzil villages
- Have breakfast at the hotel. At 9:00 meet in the hotel lobby
- Start your day with a transfer to the Mayan-Tzotzil villages of the highlands of Chiapas. Visit the indigenous community of Zinacantán "place of bats" where you will go to the Church of San Sebastián.
- Later, visit an indigenous family where they will teach you how to make their beautiful textiles, looms recognized for their unique beauty and color made by artisan women. You will also have the opportunity to taste their famous drink Pox (brandy made from corn)
- Continue your journey to the community of San Juan Chamula where you can observe the fusion between the Catholic Church and pre-Hispanic (Mayan) traditions. Then, visit the San Juan Bautista Church where you can observe their unique rites and traditions in this region.
- Transfer to the Tuxtla Gutiérrez airport.
