Embark on a seven-day journey to Cape Maclear and Liwonde National Park. Interact with local people, watch some traditional dances, and get to enjoy the local dishes of the area.     We will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel.

  • Day 2: Lilongwe City Tour expand_more

    Around 9 am, we'll drive around the city of Lilongwe and visit the parliament building, Kamuzu Mausoleum, memorial pillar, Bingu National Stadium, Lizulu local market, artifacts markets, R&L farm ranch, and later on the day, hike Bunda hill.

  • Day 3: Trip to Cape Maclear expand_more

    Early in the morning, around 8:30 am, we'll embark on a trip to Cape Maclear, Mangochi area. After one hour of our arrival, we'll take a boat cruise to Thumbi View Island, where we'll see a fish eagle picking fish from the lake and have a chance to see beautiful colourful mbuna fish.

  • Day 4: Swimming and Snorkelling expand_more

    We'll take a boat to the surrounding islands, spending the day swimming, snorkelling, and enjoying a BBQ on the beach of the island.

  • Day 5: Liwonde National Park expand_more

    Early in the morning, we'll drive to Liwonde National Park. The park is the home to Malawi's largest elephant, black rhino, cheetah and waterbuck populations. Around 6 p.m., we'll go for a boat drive in the Shire River to see the hippos, crocodiles, and many aquatic animals.

  • Day 6: Morning Game Drive expand_more

    Early in the morning, we'll go for a game drive in the park to see the elephants, rhinos, cheetahs, antelope, lions, leopards and much more.

  • Day 7: Departure expand_more

    Drive back to Lilongwe for departure.
