Day 1: Get amazed by the wonders of Palaung villages expand_more
Early morning in Pindaya, walk to the market and buy all the provision for your forthcoming 3-day trek.
Enjoy a walk through the hills for 1 hour to Htut Ni, the Palaung tribe village.
Pass through the fertile area where the Palaung cultivates cheroot, tea, damsons and mangoes on the hillsides. The track crosses the valley floor, before steeply climbing again to another Palaung village of See Kya Inn.
Continue to walk about 2 hours to Yasakyi, another Palaung village and stop for a simple lunch.
In the afternoon, observe tribal village life and how the Palaung people dry cheroot in a specially designed oven.
Simple dinner and accommodation at Yasakyi Monastery.

Day 2: Explore the Kan Hla Kone Village expand_more
Go for a simple breakfast and continue walking through the hills for 1 hour to a village of the Danu tribe. The Danu cultivates peanut, corn, ginger, potatoes and cauliflower on the hillsides.
After an hour, arrive at Danu village of Lin Lay Inn and continue to Me Ne Taung, a Pa-O village.
Have a simple lunch at Pin Sein Pinn and have a chat with the people.
Then, take another 2 hours to reach Kan Hla Kone for a night stay.
Simple dinner and accommodation at Kan Hla Kone Village Monastery.

Day 3: Back to Pindaya expand_more
Continue walking through the hills. The path leads through several villages that produce Shan Tea in the traditional way.
See the drying of the tea leaves and pass through the tea plantations. From the hills are great views of the surrounding Shan plateau.
Head back to Pindaya.
