Mingalabar!!

My name is Ye Htwe.

Most of my travellers call me Jay.

I was born in Mandalay, the last capital of Myanmar monarchy and which is now famous as city of culture in Myanmar.

As a native of Mandalay, my family is also concerning with art.

My father was a song writer and my mother was a traditional dancer.

I can also play myanmar traditional harp, guitar and sing very well.

I am a 28 years old Burmese man.

I have been working as a tourist guide since 2013 and in tourism since January, 2010.

I love being as a tourist guide because I love travelling and helping the people.

I am very interested in culture, history, religions and tribal identity.

I love my country a lot but I am open minded.

I am very enthused to show my country and my people to the world.

These reasons've inspired me to become a tourist guide.

My country has been insolated for more than 50 years.I want to introduce my country to international travellers without hiding anything.

What I mostly do druing the trip is that I provide my travellers to get hands on experiences instead of explaining all the time.

I also let my travellers interact with the local people by themselves to understand the local life deeply and to create the most exciting moments.

I will never hesitate to talk about the current issues and political situation of my country.

We have a lot to talk in my country, some are really in controversial situation.

My goal is to help my travellers to understand what is Myanmar and what is the reality as much as I can.

When they go back home they will be able to bring back the unforgetable travel experiences for life.
