Itinerary

1. Day 1: Antananarivo to Morondava

   • Arrive in Antananarivo and transfer to the airport.

   • Fly from Antananarivo to Morondava.

   • Transfer to your hotel upon arrival.

   • Spend the evening relaxing or exploring Morondava town.

   Overnight at Laguna Beach Hotel with breakfast.

2. Day 2: Morondava to Belo Town and Bekopaka Village

   • Depart early morning from Morondava at 7:30 AM.

   • Travel overland by 4x4 towards Bekopaka, including crossing the Tsiribihina River by ferry (approx. 8-10 hours).

   • Arrive in Bekopaka and check in to your lodge.

   Overnight at Grand Hotel with breakfast.

3. Day 3: Explore Big Tsingy and Manambolo River

   • Take a canoe trip on the Manambolo River to admire limestone cliffs and local villages.

   • Join a guided exploration of the Great Tsingy and Little Tsingy formations.

   • Walk along suspension bridges and viewing platforms.

   • Return to Bekopaka for overnight stay at the same hotel.

4. Day 4: Bekopaka to Belo Town and Kirindy Forest Park

   • Depart Bekopaka early morning heading south toward Belo Tsiribihina.

   • Continue the journey to Kirindy Forest Reserve (approx. 8-10 hours including transfers).

   • Visit the iconic Baobab Avenue for sunset photography en route.

   • Arrive in Kirindy and check in at your lodge.

   Overnight at Relais du Kirindy Hotel with breakfast.

5. Day 5: Kirindy Forest to Baobab Avenue and Morondava

   • Embark on an early morning guided walk in Kirindy Forest to observe lemurs, sifakas, and diurnal animals.

   • Return to Morondava in the late afternoon.

   • Stop at Baobab Avenue for sunset photography.

   • Drive slowly back to Morondava and rest at the evening beach.

   Overnight at Vezo Beach Hotel with breakfast.

6. Day 6: Morondava to Antananarivo and Andasibe Village

   • Transfer to Morondava airport for your flight to Antananarivo.

   • Upon arrival, drive to Andasibe (approx. 3-4 hours).

   • Join an evening guided night walk to spot the smallest lemurs and reptiles in the wild.

   • Check in at Cyperius Hotel in Andasibe.

7. Day 7: Explore Andasibe Rainforest and Vakona Lodge

   • Take a guided morning walk in Andasibe-Mantadia National Park to see Indri Indri lemurs and other wildlife.

   • Visit Vakona Forest Reserve for close encounters with lemurs and optional canoe rides.

   • Opt for a night walk to spot nocturnal species.

   Overnight at the same hotel.

8. Day 8: Andasibe Village to Antananarivo City Tour and Departure

   • Transfer back to Antananarivo (approx. 4 hours).

   • Enjoy a short city tour if time allows or proceed directly to the airport for your flight home.
