Itinerary

1. Day 1: Antsiranana or Diego suarez

   Meet at  airport or Hotel , and departure for the 3 bays visit  which are the sequence of the bay of Sakalava, the bay of the pigeons and the bay of the dunes. A little hike along the bays for 2 hrs to discover the fauna and flora. It is a quiet and uncrowded place where the fine white sand beach is of natural beauty. Then, discover the cape mine with its lighthouse and its canons inherited from the colonial area. You will enjoy a breathtaking view of the entrance to the Bay of Diégo-Suarez. And if the weather is clear, you might even see the clear waters of the Emerald Sea. We will end the walk in Ramena.

   Day 2: Emerald sea Excursion

   The crew of the boat will be waiting for us there in Ramena. You will have an unforgettable day in the open sea. La Mer d’Emeraude ”The Emerald Sea” is an Emerald color Lagoon, located just after the little pass towards up the North. Shallow and transparent, it allows you to dive in a natural aquarium dream where fishes of all sizes, all shapes and colors seem it be given an appointment. Snorkeling Equipment is in our care (need to have your sizes). Picnic lunch prepared on the spot. Late in the afternoon, boat team bring you back to Ramena through the coral of a form of Tsingy to admire this beauty due to the battle of the Sea and limestone.

   Day 3: Exploring Amber Mount National Parc

   Transfer to Amber Mountain. Created in 1958, the Amber Mountain National Park is located at the heart of a volcanic region. Rightly regarded as a ”biological treasure”, it is home to a magnificent protected rainforest, protected from human impact, where a rich and complex nature thrives. Walk the botanical trail and enjoy various forms of vegetation (canarium, ficus, orchids… Meet different species of chameleons including the world’s smallest, the Brokesia Minima Tuberculata. Then also get to know the lemurs (crowned, fulvus …). A veritable water tower for the region, discover various waterfalls such as the Antomboka waterfall, the Sacred Waterfall, the Antakarana waterfall or Lake Mahasarika. At the end of your visit, I will take you to the village to admire Joffreville before returning to your hotel. Overnight at Nature Lodge

   Day 4: Red Tsingy Geological result formations

   Departure for the Red Tsingy (located 50 km from Diego, 1 :30 hours drive): Through the mountains, southeast of Diego, the Red Tsingy reserve other secrets of nature. Composed of sandstone, marl and limestone, just at the foot of the eroded canyons, in the only sedimentary basin of Madagascar and a  heterogeneous vegetation, their balance is fragile. Then  will take the road to Anivorano. we will find a place for lunch en route. Installation at the hotel SOA lodge.

   Day 5: Ankarana Special Reserve

   Transfer for the Tsingy from Ankarana. The Ankarana National Park, composed of a Karst tsingy massif, stretches 35 km long (from east to west). Covered by numerous canyons covered with forests, caves, and underground rivers, it is home to endemic flora and fauna. Discover the Tsingy Rary, the turrets of the tsingy. Lunch recommended at Chez Laurent resto. In the afternoon we can visit the sacred cave of bats which is home to splendid stalactites and stalagmites (provide one flashlight).

   Day 6: Ambilobe to Nosy Be

   Departure very early in the morning to Ankify  port, the starting point for the boat transfer to Nosy Be. Small stop about an hour for the tour ”Chez Cyrille” through cocoa plantations around Ambanja. After the visit continuation on Ankify then transfer by boat to Nosy be. A vehicle pick up us from port Nosy be and drop off us to your hotel.
