Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Antananarivo

   • Arrive at Ivato International Airport and meet the tour team for assistance.
   • Complete customs formalities and receive guidance during arrival procedures including currency exchange.
   • Transfer to the hotel in Antananarivo for check in.

2. Day 2: Antananarivo to Andasibe

   • Travel east to Andasibe with scenic stops for photos and short breaks.
   • Arrive in Andasibe village, check in at the hotel and relax after lunch.
   • Take a guided night walk to explore nocturnal wildlife before returning to the hotel.

3. Day 3: Explore Andasibe National Park

   • Visit Analamazaotra National Park early in the morning to observe wildlife.
   • Spot Indri Indri and other lemur species in their natural rainforest habitat.
   • Visit Lemurs Island and Vakona Reserve to see crocodiles, birds and other species.

4. Day 4: Andasibe to Antsirabe

   • Drive back to the capital and continue to Antsirabe with a stop at Behenjy for lunch.
   • Continue the journey through highland landscapes.
   • Arrive in Antsirabe and check in at the hotel.

5. Day 5: Antsirabe to Miandrivazo via Lake Tritriva

   • Visit Lake Tritriva and enjoy its volcanic scenery and peaceful setting.
   • Continue through changing landscapes from highlands to drier regions.
   • Pass traditional villages, rice fields and savannah scenery before arriving in Miandrivazo.

6. Day 6: Miandrivazo to Kirindy Forest

   • Drive towards Kirindy Forest through western landscapes of baobabs and savannahs.
   • Arrive and check in at the lodge before lunch.
   • Take a guided afternoon walk to explore the forest and spot wildlife.

7. Day 7: Kirindy to Bekopaka

   • Travel towards Bekopaka, the gateway to Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park.
   • Cross the Tsiribihina River by local ferry.
   • Arrive and relax at the lodge in Bekopaka.

8. Day 8: Explore Tsingy of Bemaraha National Park

   • Spend the day exploring Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park with a guided visit.
   • Walk across suspension bridges and limestone pinnacles.
   • Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and return to the hotel in the afternoon. 

9. Day 9: Bekopaka to Morondava

   • Travel back to Morondava with a lunch stop at Belo sur Tsiribihina.
   • Visit Avenue of the Baobabs to enjoy a sunset view.
   • Arrive in Morondava and transfer to the hotel.

10. Day 10: Morondava to Antsirabe

    • Depart early and drive to Antsirabe through the landscapes of the Menabe region.
    • Stop for lunch in Miandrivazo along the way.
    • Continue to Antsirabe and check in at the hotel.

11. Day 11: Antsirabe to Ranomafana

    • Take a short city tour of Antsirabe including Independence Avenue and local markets.
    • Travel south through Betsileo landscapes with terraced rice fields.
    • Stop at Ambositra for lunch and explore local crafts.
    • Continue to Ranomafana area and check in at the hotel.

12. Day 12: Explore Ranomafana National Park

    • Visit Ranomafana National Park to search for lemurs and rainforest wildlife.
    • Return to the hotel for lunch and rest.
    • Take a guided night walk to spot nocturnal species.

13. Day 13: Ranomafana to Isalo National Park

    • Travel south towards Isalo National Park.
    • Stop at Ambalavao for lunch and visit a local workshop.
    • Continue the journey and check in at the hotel near Isalo.

14. Day 14: Explore Isalo National Park

    • Spend the day trekking through canyons and landscapes in Isalo National Park.
    • Visit natural pools and enjoy time in the park.
    • Return to the hotel and visit the Isalo window for sunset views.

15. Day 15: Isalo to Ifaty via Tulear

    • Travel to Tulear and continue to Ifaty village.
    • Visit Reniala Reserve to explore local flora and fauna.
    • Return to Tulear and check in at the hotel.

16. Day 16: Tulear to Antananarivo and Departure

    • Visit the local handicraft market in Tulear.
    • Transfer to the airport for a flight to Antananarivo.
    • Transfer for international departure.
