    • Pickup from the airport, hotel or pre-established meeting point. Then set off on your trip to visit:
      • Gangarama Temple - One of the most important temples of Colombo, an eclectic mix of Sri Lankan, Thai, Indian, and Chinese architecture. 
      • National Museum - Established on 1st January 1877 by Sir William Henry Gregory, it is the largest museum in the country. 
      • Old Parliament Building - Housing the Presidential Secretariat of Sri Lanka, this Neo-Baroque-style building has held Colombo's legislature for 53 years.  
      • Independence Memorial Arcade & Independence Square - A national monument, it houses the Independence Memorial Museum.
      • Shopping at Odel Shopping Complex - Shopping at Laksala state-owned Handicrafts Emporium - an authentic place to pick up some popular Sri Lankan handicrafts and products.
      • Beire Lake - located in the centre of the city, the lake has many intricate canals which have aided in transporting good waterway.
      • Time for an authentic traditional Sri Lankan lunch.  
    • After lunch, walk through the main fruit and vegetable market of Colombo, experience local life.
    • Go to the Lighthouse and clock tower - built on 25 February 1857, the tower was designed by Emily Elizabeth Ward, wife of Governor Sir Henry George Ward. At 29-metre-high (95 ft), it was the tallest building at that time.  
    • Travel to the Colombo Harbor - the largest and the busiest Sri Lanka port, serves as an important terminal in Asia.
    • Visit Grand Orient Hotel, which has a stunning view of a Colombo harbour.
    • Explore the busy bazaar of Colombo.

Know before you go
  • During the tour, you will be travelling in air-conditioned semi-luxury vehicles. The chauffeur (driver-guide) will keep the conversation informative and entertaining explaining to you the places you visit (where applicable) and the country in general and also be answering any questions you have.

  • You will be picked up from a pre-established location, from the airport or from your hotel/lodge. At the end of the tour, you will be accompanied to your hotel/lodge or to the airport whichever a convenient option for you.

  • Pick up or drop off within Negombo city limits and up to Kochchikade river, Colombo city limits up to Mt. Lavinia and to/from Colombo International Airport are free of charge. For any other location please contact us for a quotation.

  • Your guide takes you through the sightseeings and explains to you in detail about the attraction. We may use the assistance of local city guides where required without you are being bullied for the extra service
