Pick up from the airport and drive to Negombo. See the highest fish market and relax on the beach. Overnight stay at Goldi Sands or similar hotel in Negombo.

Next destination would be Wilpattu National Park; safari starts at 2.00 p.m. where you can see natural habitats of wild animals like the Sri Lankan leopard, Sri Lankan sloth bear. This natural habitat in Wilpattu is also the largest national wildlife reservoir and most attractive park in Sri Lanka. Drive back to the hotel in Wilpattu. Visit Polonnaruwa, the ex-capital of Sri Lanka for about 200 years. You can visit the archaeological museum, royal palace, audience hall, swimming pool, sacred quadrangle, shiva devale,pabalu veteran,rankot vihara, Kiri Vihara, buddha statue at lankatilaka, buddha figures at gal vihara etc. Overnight stay at hotel Sudu Araliya or similar hotel in Polonnaruwa.

Drive to Sigiriya. Following tourist activities are remarkable in Sigiriya including village tour to experience ancient village life with their day-to-day activities including oxen cart rides, catamaran rides, walk towards paddy fields, cookery demonstration on traditional Sri Lankan foods and enjoy a traditional meal.

You can dedicate a whole evening to visit the Pidurangala Rock in Sigiriya to catch-up the sunset scenery. Overnight stay at Amaya Lake or similar hotel in Dambulla.

You are picked up at7.00 a.m. from your residence in Sigiriya and drives straight away to the lion rock. You will visit the eight wonder of the world, which contains enormous walls, water canals, security guard rooms, natural stoned arches, mirror stone and world-famous Sigiri paintings. It is an isolated rock, a kingdom more than 200m in height. You have to spend more than two and half hours. 

Your second destination is Dambulla cave temple, the largest and the best preserved cave temple in Sri Lanka. The caves were converted in to a temple complex by king Walagamba during the 1st century. There are about 153 Buddha status and murals, which covers 2100 square meters. You have to spend around one and half hours to cover entire temple complex.

Drive to Kandy. Enjoy kandyan dancing event in the evening between 5.00 p.m. - 6.00 p.m. Finally, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic. The lord buddha's most sacred molar tooth is placed in seven golden caskets, under a golden ceiling. Overnight stay at Queens or similar hotel in Kandy.

Pickup at 7.00 a.m. from your hotel place then drives to Pinnawala elephant orphanage, to see milk feeding & elephant bathing. Visit the royal botanical garden, which is covered by colourful flower plants, herbal plants, endemic and epidemic plant species and palm family trees all-inclusive more than 4000 varieties can be seen here. The world’s giant bamboo tree species are found only here. There are more than 100 various species of ferns, and the largest variety of orchid flower plants and lotus and water lilies are grown in artificial ponds in the garden. Drive to Adams Peak. Another world heritage and multi-religious place in Sri Lanka is an isolated mountain peak of 7359 feet above the sea level. Adams peak is another most sacred, higher value and the most attractive place among local and foreign tourists. The season begins from the full moon poya day. In December and ends on the full moon poya day in May. It isn't easy to climb the rock during the weekend because it is too crowded with local pilgrims.

The journey begins from Nuwara Eliya (Nanuoya) Railway station in the morning. It takes nearly 3 hours and 30 minutes to reach Ella. It's the iconic scenic train journey in Sri Lanka.
