Sign up for a 13-day tour of the ancient cities of Sri Lanka, starting from the exploration of the ancient ruins of Anuradhapura. Visit the monasteries in Polonnaruwa, climb the famous Sigiriya Rock and take a bullock cart ride. Go sightseeing in Kandy, see Gregory lake in Nuwara Eliya and do a wildlife safari in Yala National Park. Lastly, enjoy whale and dolphin watching in Mirissa and visit the famous Galle Fort.

Day 1 Airport-Negombo
- Upon arrival, you will be picked up by your tour guide from the Bandaranaike International Airport. Drive to your hotel in Negombo

Day 2: Negombo-Anuradhapura
- After breakfast, drive to the city of Anuradhapura. This is the city of ancient ruins where you can obtain an in-depth explanation of the history of Sri Lanka.
Overnight in Anuradhapura.

Day 3: Anuradhapura
- Today, you will get a chance to visit the Mihintale Buddhist Temple where you will find more ruins amongst the first Buddhist Temple in Sri Lanka.
- Afterwards, you can enjoy the rest of the day at your accommodation.

Day 4: Anuradhapura-Polonaruwa-Sigiriya
- After breakfast, you will head towards Polonnaruwa. Polonnaruwa was a great city in Sri Lanka that came into prominence during its brief period of two centuries of Sri Lankan history, being second only to the ancient city of Anuradhapura in ancient cultural heritage. Polonnaruwa today is a showcase of the great ancient Sri Lankan architecture dating back to the 12th Century AD, which was interwoven with many Buddhist monasteries and monuments which were built by King Parakramabahu.
- After the tour, transfer to Sigiriya.

Day 5: Sigiriya
- After breakfast climb Sigiriya Rock to see its palace ruins. Sigiriya is an ancient rock fortress and palace ruin encircled by the remains of a widespread network of gardens, reservoirs, and other structures. Sigiriya consists of an ancient castle built by King Kassapa during the 5th Century AD. It is a popular tourist destination. Sigiriya has it all and its prehistoric paintings (frescos), which are significant of the Ajanta Caves of India
- Then, go for Bullock Cart Riding which gives you a chance to experience traditional Sri Lanka with all its authenticity.

Day 6: Sigiriya - Kandy
- The next day after breakfast, you will head towards the hill capital of the Island – Kandy. On the way, you will visit the Spice Garden.

Day 7: Sightseeing in Kandy
- Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, also known as Sri Dalada Maligawa. This golden roofed Temple houses the relic of Lord Buddha’s tooth.
- Afterwards, go to the Botanical Garden and then, enjoy an entertaining Kandyan Cultural Dance Show in the evening.

Day 8: Kandy - Nuwara Eliya Ella
- Explore the panoramic beauty of the beautiful town of Nuwara Eliya, also known as “Little England”. En route, you can see tea plantation, tea factory, waterfalls. Your driver will stop at one upon your request if you wish to take a dip pictures.
- When you arrived in Nuwara Eliya, see Gregory lake and drive to the train station in Nanu Oya. Your friendly chauffer will catch you again in Ella railway station and drive to the hotel in Ella.

- After breakfast, you are going to explore Ella by visiting some marvellous places around.
- Go to the Nine Arches Bridge and the Little Adam's Peak.

Day 10: Ella - Tissamaharama
- You will depart from the city of Ella and travel to Tissamaharama.
- After checking in to the hotel, you will engage in an evening full of fun-filled wildlife safari activities in Yala National Park.

Day 11: Tissamaharama - Mirissa
- The next morning, move on to explore the gorgeous combination of sun, sand and water in Sri Lanka.
- Visit Mirissa Beach, a breathtaking sandy beach that pretty much transforms your dreams and visions of a tropical paradise into an everyday reality. This small sandy tropical beach boasts some of Sri Lanka’s best and most stunning sunsets and sunrises

Day 12: Mirissa
- Go whale and dolphin watching in Mirissa which is one of the most exciting water activities you can do in Sri Lanka during your holiday.

Day 13: Galle-airport drop
- After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Galle, a city on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka. It’s known for Galle Fort, the fortified old city founded by Portuguese colonists in the 16th century.
- See the stone sea walls, expanded by the Dutch, encircle car-free streets with architecture reflecting Portuguese, Dutch and British rule.
- According to the flight departure time, you will be departing for Bandaranaike International Airport in time to catch your flight (at least 2-3 hours before your flight).
