    • Visit the jungle shrine of Katharagama, an hour away from Tissa.

    • Go for an early morning game drive to Yala National Park, situated in the Hambanthota and Monaragala District. It is home to several exotic birds and animals in Sri Lanka.

    • Spend the evening at leisure.

  • Day 5 - Day 12: Beach Stay (Yala - Unawatunma) expand_more

    • After late breakfast, proceed to Unawatuna. On the way, take a break at a UNESCO heritage site, the Galle fortress, which was built by the Dutch in the 17th century.

    • Pass through the district court and the original entrance to the fort.

    • An evening spent at leisure near the beach. (The vehicle would drop off guests & return for airport transfer).
