Day by day
Overnight at Habarana.
After a wholesome breakfast at the hotel, leave for Sigiriya Lion Rock, an ancient rock fortress dominated by a massive column of rock nearly 200 meters (660 ft) high.
After visiting the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, leave for Kandy, the last kingdom in Sri Lanka. On the way, visit the Dambulla Cave Temple. Also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site (1991) and one of the largest and best-preserved cave temple complexes in Sri Lanka. The rock towers 160 m above the surrounding plains, and there are more than 80 similar caves in the surrounding area.
