Day by day
8:00 - 10:30. Your first destination will be Charyn Canyon. It is about a 2.5-hour drive to the canyon, and you can spend about 1 hour there. Admire the beautiful views from the top of Charyn Canyon, walk along a path through the canyon, and see rock formations that look like castles. Enjoy the amazing landscapes of Charyn Canyon and the Valley of Castles.
11:30 - 13:00. Your second destination will be Kolsay Lakes. It is about a 1.5-hour drive (100 km) from Charyn Canyon to the lake. On the way, you will stop at Black (Lunar) Canyon. Kolsay Lakes are one of the wonders of Kazakhstan, often called the Switzerland of Kazakhstan. The lakes are located on the northern slope of the Tian Shan Mountains in southeast Kazakhstan. You will spend about 1.5 hours there.
