You will encounter landmarks such as the Daecheongbong summit of Mt. Seoraksan, Hangyeryong, Ulsanbawi Rock, Sinheungsa Temple, and the 12 Angels Fall Valley. The journey also includes Hwajinpo Beach, the DMZ Observatory and Museum, and a stop at Kim Il-sung's summer vacation house from before the Korean War. The tour wraps up with your return to Seoul after your final valley trek.

The itinerary

Day 01

Seoul to Yangyang and Heullimgol-Jujeongol Valley Trek

08:30: Meet and depart for Yangyang in Gangwon-do.
11:30: Begin trekking through Heullimgol and Jujeongol Valley.
17:00: Complete the trek and check in to the hotel.

Day 02

Daecheongbong Summit Trek in Mt. Seoraksan

08:00: Travel by bus to the trailhead at Hangyeryong or another starting point.
09:00: Start your trek.
13:00: Reach Daecheongbong Summit.
16:30: Descend and reach the trail end.
18:00: Return to the hotel.

Day 03

Goseong DMZ Observatory and Coastal Sights

09:00: Travel to the DMZ ticket office.
10:30: Visit the DMZ Observatory.
12:00: Visit the DMZ Museum.
15:00: Head to Hwajinpo Beach and Kim Il-sung's summer vacation house.
17:00: Visit Sokcho Fishery Market.
18:00: Return to the hotel.

Day 04

Ulsanbawi Rock Trek and Sinheungsa Temple

09:00: Travel to the Seoraksan ticket office.
10:00: Trek to Ulsanbawi Rock and back.
15:30: Stop by Sinheungsa Temple after the rock trek.
17:00: Return to the hotel and end the day's tour.
Option 2 is to trek to Biryong Falls instead of Ulsanbawi Rock.

Day 05

12 Angels Fall Valley Trek and Return to Seoul

09:00: Check out and travel to the trailhead of 12 Angels Fall Valley.
10:00: Trek for 4 hours.
15:00: Return to Seoul.
18:00: Check in and end the entire tour.
Option 2 is to hike the Baekdamsa Temple valley path.
