Description
Explore the leisure and heritage land of Siem Reap on this 3 day trip. Gaze upon the world-famous, must-see, temples of Angkor and shop at the Artisans D’ Angkor, a local artisan boutique which was established to support Cambodian arts and crafts. Visit the famous Wat Thmei, one of the killing field memorials which houses the bones of victims killed during the regime of the Khmer Rouge during 1975 – 1979. Experience the awe-inspiring spell of the colourful and vibrant Cambodian Traditional Circus, where the Phare performers use theatre, music and dance to narrate the Cambodian folklores.

Day 1: Explore Siem Reap
Meet your guide at the airport and check into the hotel.
Proceed for a half-day city excursion in the afternoon.
Make your way to the Artisans D’ Angkor, a local artisan boutique which was established to support Cambodian arts and crafts. Discover how wood and stone carvings, lacquering, gilding, and silk paintings are created.
The next destination is Wat Thmei, one of the killing field memorials, a small memorial stupa which houses the skulls and bones of victims killed during the regime of the Khmer Rouge during 1975 – 1979.
Visit the Old Market which is one of the oldest Khmer market in Siem Reap to purchase souvenirs such as clothes, jewellery, and more.
Retire to the hotel for the night.

Day 2: Sightseeing and Temple Tour
Start your day at 8:00 am to begin the day’s tour.
Visit the South Gate and witness its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk and see the ancient capital of Angkor Thom built in the late 12th century.
Head to the Bayon Temple which is unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avalokitesvara.
Make your way to the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.
Continue with the popular temple of Ta Prohm which is the modern name of the temple at Angkor, built in the late 12th to early 13th centuries, also famous after the shooting of the Tomb Raider.
Have a sumptuous Khmer feast/lunch at a local restaurant.
Visit the magnificent Angkor Wat Temple, Angkor park’s most revered temple and the largest religious monument in the world. Inside the temple, the walls are covered with stone carvings and bas‐reliefs which are absolutely breathtaking. Explore the stories behind the stone carvings.
Experience a special evening in Siem Reap, with the show of Cambodian Traditional Circus, where Phare performers use theatre, music, dance and modern circus arts to narrate unique Cambodian folklores and stories.

Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the hotel.
Take a walk or indulge in some last-minute shopping before check out at midday.
