Day 1: The Volcanic Crater at Mount Suswa
Meet your dedicated guide at your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
Drive west into the Great Rift Valley towards the dormant Mount Suswa volcano.
Ascend the sacred volcano and arrive at a scenic campsite on the crater rim.
Settle into the fly camp overlooking the vast Rift Valley landscapes.
Enjoy a campfire dinner with an introduction to Suswa’s geology and Maasai legends.

Day 2: Lava Caves and Ogiek Culture in the Mau Forest
Hike into the inner crater of Mount Suswa to explore extensive lava tube caves.
Descend the volcano and journey north to the Mau Forest.

- Arrive at Kenya’s only tropical rainforest and settle at the forest edge.

- Join a guided night walk to spot nocturnal wildlife such as bushbabies and chameleons.
