Itinerary

1. Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park

   • Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park.

   • Enjoy the scenic views of the escarpment, lake, and acacia forest — it’s no surprise some aerial shots for Out of Africa were taken here.

   • Explore the park on an afternoon game drive. Look out for black and white rhinos, tree-climbing lions, endangered Rothschild’s giraffes, leopards, flamingos, and many bird species.

   • Take an evening game drive as temperatures cool down and animals become more active — the soft light makes it magical.

   • Check in at Lake Nakuru Lodge, located in a quiet corner of the park with sweeping wildlife views right outside your room.

   • Relax by the swimming pool or enjoy the lodge’s spa and restaurant.

   Have dinner and spend the night at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

2. Day 2: Lake Nakuru National Park – Nairobi

   • Wake up early for a morning game drive to catch the wildlife at their most active.

   • Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast.

   • Take some time to relax and maybe enjoy a refreshing swim before checking out.

   • Drive out of the park with an enroute game drive — one last chance to spot any animals you might’ve missed.

   • Soak in the majestic views of Lake Nakuru as you make your way back to Nairobi.

   • Arrive in Nairobi by late afternoon, carrying wonderful memories of your wildlife adventure.
