Itinerary

1. Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara

   • Get collected from your hotel in Nairobi city centre and begin your safari to Masai Mara Game Reserve.

   • Drive through the stunning Great Rift Valley and stop at a viewpoint to enjoy panoramic views and spot Mount Longonot in the distance.

   • Continue through dramatic landscapes towards the Maasai Mara and arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch.

   • Head out at 4 pm for an exciting evening game drive timed to capture the golden hues of sunset.

   • Explore the western escarpment, known for its high concentration of wildlife.

   • Spot a variety of animals including the Big Five lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino.

   • Learn about the Great Migration, where over 1.5 million wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles cross the plains between July and November.

   • Return to your camp for a buffet dinner and a relaxing evening of rest.

2. Day 2: Full Day Masai Mara Exploration

   • Enjoy an early breakfast before setting out for a full day game drive in Masai Mara.

   • Spot the Big Five including lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos.

   • Observe other wildlife such as cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and various antelope species.

   • Stop around midday for a packed picnic lunch near the Mara River.

   • Watch hippos and crocodiles basking while enjoying the surrounding wilderness.

   • Continue your afternoon game drive exploring different areas of the reserve to maximise wildlife sightings.

   • Return to your lodge or camp in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

3. Day 3: Masai Mara to Nairobi

   • Enjoy breakfast at the camp before experiencing an optional visit to a traditional Maasai village for a cultural encounter.

   • Learn about Maasai traditions, vibrant beadwork, and their harmonious way of life close to nature.

   • Interact with the Maasai community and gain insight into their customs, beliefs, and daily practices.

   • Participate in traditional songs and dances for an immersive cultural experience.

   • Check out around 9:00 am and begin your drive back to Nairobi with a lunch stop en route.

   • Arrive in Nairobi at approximately 3:30 pm and get dropped off at your hotel.

   • Conclude your safari with unforgettable memories of your Masai Mara adventure.
