Itinerary

Day 1 – Nairobi to Amboseli
- Depart Nairobi and drive to Amboseli (~4–5 hrs).
- Afternoon game drive with iconic views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
- Spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, and possibly lions.
Overnight at lodge/camp in Amboseli.
Day 2 – Full Day in Amboseli
- Morning and afternoon game drives across Amboseli’s plains and swamps.
- Observe large elephant herds, diverse wildlife, and scenic Kilimanjaro views.
Evening relaxation at the lodge.
Day 3 – Amboseli to Lake Naivasha
- Short morning game drive in Amboseli.
- Transfer to Lake Naivasha (~5–6 hrs).
- Afternoon boat ride spotting hippos, fish eagles, and waterbirds.
- Guided walking safari on Crescent Island among giraffes, zebras, and antelopes.
Overnight at lodge/camp near Lake Naivasha.
Day 4 – Lake Naivasha to Lake Nakuru
- Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park (~2–3 hrs).
- Afternoon game drive to see black and white rhinos, flamingos, Rothschild’s giraffes, lions, and leopards.
Overnight at lodge near Lake Nakuru.
Day 5 – Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara
- Drive to Masai Mara (~5–6 hrs).
- Afternoon game drive in the Mara, exploring open savannahs and predator-rich areas.
Overnight at camp/lodge in or near the reserve.
Day 6 – Full Day in Masai Mara
- Morning and afternoon game drives with picnic lunch.
- Opportunities to see lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, buffalo, wildebeest, zebras, and river crossings (seasonal).
- Optional Maasai village visit in the evening.
Overnight at Mara lodge/camp.
Day 7 – Masai Mara to Isebania Border
- Morning transfer to Isebania Border (~4–5 hrs).
- Cross into Tanzania to continue your safari into the Serengeti or other destinations.

Know Before You Go

Travel Distances – Expect long drives between destinations: Nairobi–Amboseli (~4 hrs), Amboseli–Naivasha (~5–6 hrs), Naivasha–Nakuru (~2 hrs), Nakuru–Masai Mara (~5–6 hrs), Mara–Isebania (~4–5 hrs).

Border Crossing at Isebania – Carry your valid passport, visa (if required), and yellow fever vaccination certificate for entry into Tanzania.

Park Entry Fees – Confirm if included in your package; each park has separate entry fees.

Game Drives – Early morning and late afternoon drives offer the best wildlife sightings.

Wildlife Sightings – Abundant, but not guaranteed—patience enhances the safari experience.

Weather – Amboseli is generally dry and dusty, Naivasha is cooler by the lake, Nakuru has moderate climate, and the Mara can be warm but with possible rains—pack layers.

Health & Safety – Use insect repellent, drink bottled or filtered water, and follow your guide’s safety instructions.

Connectivity – Mobile coverage is available in most areas, but signal can be weak inside national parks.

Accommodation – Safari lodges and camps provide comfortable stays with essential amenities; eco-lodges may have limited power supply.

Optional Activities – Crescent Island walking safari, Maasai village visit, or boat rides may require additional fees.

Tipping – Appreciated by driver-guides and lodge staff; amounts are discretionary.
