Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Bogoria
- 07:00 AM – Depart Nairobi and drive north through the Great Rift Valley with scenic photo stops along the way.
- 12:30 PM – Stop for lunch in Nakuru or en route before continuing to Lake Bogoria.
- 03:00 PM – Arrive at Lake Bogoria and check in at your lodge or camp near the reserve.
- 04:00 PM – Visit the dramatic geysers and hot springs while enjoying birdwatching along the lakeshore.
- 06:30 PM – Relax at your lodge and savour beautiful sunset views of the Rift Valley. Overnight at Lake Bogoria.
Day 2: Lake Bogoria – Nairobi
- 07:00 AM – Early morning visit to witness thousands of flamingos and spot wildlife such as greater kudu, gazelles, and zebras.
- 09:00 AM – Enjoy breakfast at the lodge before departure.
- 10:00 AM – Depart Lake Bogoria for a scenic drive back towards Nairobi.
- 01:00 PM – Lunch stop en route.
- 05:00 PM – Arrive in Nairobi for drop-off at your hotel or residence.

Travel Time: The drive from Nairobi to Lake Bogoria takes around 5-6 hours, making it best suited as an overnight excursion. From Nakuru, it can be done as a day trip.

Best Time to Visit: Early mornings and late afternoons offer the best light and higher chances to see flamingos.

Hot Springs Safety: The geysers and hot springs are extremely hot - avoid touching the water or getting too close.

Wildlife Viewing: Lake Bogoria hosts flamingos, greater kudu, gazelles, and zebras, but sightings may vary by season.
