Itinerary

1. Day 1: Nairobi to Samburu Game Reserve

   Pick up by our tour driver/guide from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport [JKIA] and drive to Samburu Game Reserve, the dramatic semi-arid scrubland of the Northern Frontier. Arrive on time, check in at Elephant Bedroom Camp, have lunch, and later enjoy an evening game drive.

   Dinner and overnight at the camp.

2. Day 2: Samburu Game Reserve

   Early breakfast and then proceed for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch. Sight resident wildlife species like the Reticulated Giraffe, Gravy's Zebra, Beisa Oryx, and the Blue-necked Somali Ostrich are rarely sighted in the country. Lunch will be served at a dry riverbed under the vast African skies (weather permitting).

   Dinner and overnight at the camp.

3. Day 3: Samburu to Aberdares National Park

   Early breakfast, proceed to Aberdares National Park. Arrive in time for lunch, check in at the Aberdare Country Club, and have lunch. Later, proceed for an evening game drive and then back to the Ark Lodge for an overnight stay.

4. Day 4: Aberdare National Park to Lake Nakuru National Park

   Early breakfast, check out of the Lodge and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive on time, check in at Lake Nakuru Lodge, have lunch, and relax. Later, enjoy an evening game drive, if lucky, spotting the big five, which includes Lions, Buffalos, Rhinos, and Leopards, among others.

   Later, back to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

5. Day 5: Lake Nakuru National Park

   Early morning breakfast, then proceed for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch. Lake Nakuru National Park is known for its variety of bird species and is also known as a home for pink flamingoes. Lunch will be served at the baboon cliff while watching the baboons.

   Later, back to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

6. Day 6: Lake Nakuru National Park to Lake Naivasha

   Early breakfast, then check out of the lodge have a morning game drive en route to Naivasha. On arrival, check in at Great Rift Valley Lodge in time for lunch. The remainder of the afternoon will be at your leisure, with the opportunity to go on a nature walk, hire a boat to take you to the famous Crescent Island, or simply relax by the swimming pool.

   Back to the Lodge in the late evening for dinner and overnight.

7. Day 7: Lake Naivasha

   After breakfast, visit the Crescent Island. Have a boat ride, which is optional, and a guided nature walk. Visit Hell's Gate National Park, have game viewing, hiking, rock climbing, and horseback riding (optional) and other activities. Cycling at Hell's Gate National Park (optional). Visit the Geothermal spa to unwind, which is believed to have medicinal properties for the skin.

   Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

8. Day 8: Lake Naivasha to Tsavo National Park

   After an early breakfast, depart for Tsavo West National Park, roughly halfway between Nairobi and the Coast. Mzima Springs, the chief marvel here, is a favourite haunt of hippos and crocodiles.

   Arrive on time for lunch check in at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge. Later, proceed for an evening game drive, if lucky, spotting the large herds of elephants, buffalo, common waterbuck, eland, rhino, and a wide variety of antelope.

   Back to the Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

9. Day 9: Tsavo National Park

   Early breakfast, then proceed for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch. This park is famed for its large herds of elephants covered in red dust and fine scenery. Visit the scenic Lugard's Falls, Mudanda Rocks (which attracts elephants in the drier season), and Aruba Dam as you see the game if time permits.

   Back to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

10. Day 10: Tsavo National Park to Nairobi

    Early morning game drive, then back to the Lodge for breakfast. Refresh, then transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for onward departure flights.
