Description
- Tsavo East National Park, nicknamed “Theatre of the Wild," is well known for its large herds of red-dusted elephants! It's Kenya's largest and oldest national park, established in April 1948. It’s the home of the most extended plateau in the world, covering a distance of over 300 kilometres. THE YATTA PLATEU is a crucial tourist attraction in Tsavo East National Park. The park hosts many permanent residents of giant mammals, such as lions, elephants, and buffalo. Other big mammals are found at the park, including crocodiles and hippos, which can be seen at LUGARDS FALLS. Waterbucks, Lesser Kudu, Gerenuk, Zebras, and Giraffes. Tsavo East also has prolific bird life, featuring over 500 bird species recorded across the park.

Day 01: Mombasat-Tsavo East National Park
- Early Morning pick up at 6:30 am from your hotel, then drive to Tsavo East National Park, arriving on time for the late morning game drive as we spot Red Elephants.
- Thereafter, check in at the Lodge or camp for Lunch.
- After lunch, settle in and rest during the hottest day.
- After tea time, proceed for a second game drive through the park until 18hrs in search of the resident animals, i.e. Buffaloes, Giraffes, Gazelles, Waterbucks, Leopards, Zebras, different bird species, not forgetting the so-called 'man-eater-the Lions of Tsavo.
All meals and overnight at Tsavo East Sentrim Camp or equivalent. (FB)

Day 02: Tsavo East National Park
- After breakfast, proceed for a morning game drive, which will take us up to the Luggards Falls. The falls are named after the first British governor of East Africa, the British protectorate. This natural feature is found in the park, where the Galana River plunges into gorges, creating multi-coloured rocks and spectacular, magnificent, and evocative landscapes! Other attractions found along the river are hippos and crocodiles.
- Thereafter, return to the lodge or camp for lunch. After lunch, relax until 16 hrs. In the evening, a game drive will follow until 18 hrs.

Day 03: Tsavo East National Park-Mombasa
- Before breakfast, embark on a short game drive in the park—this is the best time of day to spot big cats.
- Thereafter, return to the lodge for breakfast.
- After breakfast, check out and drive towards Mombasa with the last lunch en route, arriving at your hotel at around 17 hrs. (BL)
