Itinerary

Day 01: Nairobi - Samburu national reserve
- Your guide-driver will pick you up from the airport with a briefing.
- You will be driven north past the equator to the Northern Frontier district.
- You'll continue to the semi-arid Samburu National Reserve and check in at your campsite. You'll have lunch at the lodge. There will be time to settle in before your afternoon safari adventure.
- You'll set out for an afternoon game drive in the reserve.
- You'll enjoy twice-daily game drives, during which you will see huge and majestic elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as all of the "Special Five," which include the beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, gerenuk antelope, and Somali ostrich. In the hot and arid lowlands of the northern districts of Kenya, featuring doum palms and over 450 species of birds, there are exciting experiences to keep you fascinated over the next day or two.
Dinner and overnight stay will be at your camp/lodge.

Day 02: Samburu fullday
- You'll set out for the whole day for an early morning game drive in the Samburu Reserve. Morning is usually the most popular game-viewing time. During the early hours, the temperatures are low, thus providing a favourable atmosphere for the game and the viewer. Lions, cheetahs, and leopards roam the vast grasslands for their next meal—it may be an unsuspecting impala or even a small animal like a warthog. The spectacle of nature unfolding is always unforgettable from the pop-up roof.
Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp/lodge.

Day 03: Samburu fullday
- Early morning game drives when animals are most active.
- Look out for predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as well as elephants and other herbivores.
- Return to the lodge for breakfast and relax.
- After (optional visit to Samburu village), have lunch at your lodge/camp and relax.
- Have a game drive in the evening, when the light is perfect for photography and the animals are more active.
Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge.

Day 04: Samburu - Lake nakuru
- You'll have an early breakfast at the camp.
- Then, you'll drive to Lake Nakuru National Park for the game drives. The park is surrounded by wooded and bushy grassland. It is ideal for bird watching, hiking, picnics, and viewing the endangered black rhinos.
- You'll return to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 05: Lake Naivaisha - Amboseli
- This day will start with an extensive game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. This alkaline lake is home to millions of pink flamingos that cover its shorelines. The Lake ecosystem is also a habitat for over 400 species of birds. The park has cliff tops that serve as viewpoints for wildlife. This is one of the few places in Kenya where you can see white and black rhinos in the same place, as this park is also a rhino sanctuary.
- Later, you will exit the park and drive to Lake Naivasha, a beautiful freshwater lake fringed by thick papyrus almost 13 km across. The lake draws a great range of game to these shores. Giraffes wander among the acacia, buffalos wallow in the swamps, and Colobus monkeys call from the treetops while the lake’s large hippo populations sleep the day in the shallows.

Day 06:Naivaisha - Amboseli
- After breakfast, you'll depart for Amboseli via Nairobi and drive south through Maasai land to the plains below Mount Kilimanjaro, where Amboseli is situated.
- After an en-route picnic lunch with the majestic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, you'll enjoy spectacular displays of wildlife like lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, cheetahs, buffalos, and various plains games. Postcard-perfect pictures are almost always guaranteed.
- Finally, you will return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 07: Amboseli full day
- You'll have an early morning game drive and then return to the lodge for breakfast.
- After breakfast, you'll have a full-day game drive in the park with a packed lunch.
- You'll be in search of the park's popular residents, such as the well-known predators and their prey—zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and hippos—with a view of Mount Kilimanjaro.
- You'll spend the whole day in Amboseli National Park with morning and afternoon game drives. This park is termed an animal's paradise.
- Later, you'll return to your camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 08: Amboseli - Nairobi
- You'll have an early morning breakfast and then check out of the camp.
- You'll leave for Nairobi with a picnic lunch en route to Nairobi.
- In Nairobi, you will be dropped off at the hotel/airport.
