Day 01

Nairobi to Masai Mara via the Great Rift Valley

  • Depart from Nairobi at 8:30 am.

  • Drive through the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley to reach the Masai Mara Reserve area. This enormous reserve is a part of the vast Serengeti plains, known for the spectacular great wildebeest migration and also home to the Big Five: lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, and rhino.

  • Enjoy lunch at the lodge/camp and relax.

  • Leave for an afternoon game drive.

Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.

Day 02

Full-Day Game Viewing and Masai Village Visit

  • Spend a whole day game viewing the great predators that roam this reserved area. See enormous herds of grazing animals, including the elusive cheetah and leopards hiding amidst acacia bushes.

  • Visit a village of the Masai people to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals.

Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.

Early Morning Game Drive and Return to Nairobi

  • Go for an early morning game drive in this reserve, followed by a late breakfast at the campsite.

  • Depart for Nairobi late in the afternoon.
