Itinerary

1. Tsavo East National Park – Full-Day Safari Itinerary

   5:30 AM – Pick Up from Your Hotel or Residence

   • Begin your adventure with an early morning pick-up from your hotel or residence in Mombasa, Diani, Malindi, or Watamu. Travel in a comfortable 4x4 Land Cruiser or safari tour van. Enjoy the scenic drive along the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway toward the Bachuma Gate entrance of Tsavo East National Park.

   8:00 AM – Enter Tsavo East National Park

   • Arrive at the park and start your game drive immediately upon entry. Explore the vast landscapes of one of Kenya's largest and oldest national parks. Look out for red-dusted elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, buffalos, impalas, waterbucks, and numerous bird species.

   10:30 AM – Visit Aruba Dam

   • Proceed to Aruba Dam, a well-known waterhole that attracts many animals during the day. Capture excellent photographs and observe wildlife interactions at this central spot within the park.

   12:30 PM – Lunch at a Lodge or Camp

   • Stop for a delicious buffet lunch at a selected lodge such as Ashnil Aruba Lodge, Voi Safari Lodge, or enjoy a meal at a designated picnic site depending on your tour package. Relax and take in the views of the surrounding nature.

   1:30 PM – Afternoon Game Drive

   • Continue your exploration of Tsavo East with an afternoon game drive. Visit new areas of the park for additional wildlife encounters. Watch for cheetahs, hippos, monkeys, and possibly leopards hiding in the bush.

   3:00 PM – Exit the Park

   • Begin your return journey toward the coast. Reflect on the day’s sightings and enjoy the peaceful drive through rural Kenya.

   6:00 PM – 7:00 PM – Drop Off at Your Hotel

   • Arrive back at your hotel or residence in the early evening with unforgettable memories of your full-day safari experience in Tsavo East National Park.
