Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve
- Depart Nairobi after breakfast and drive north through Kenya’s Central Highlands.
- Stop at the Equator line in Nanyuki for memorable photos and interactive demonstrations.
- Continue to Samburu National Reserve, arriving for lunch at Samburu Sopa Lodge.
- Afternoon game drive to spot the “Samburu Special Five” - Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk - as well as elephants, lions, and leopards along the Ewaso Nyiro River.
Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge.

Day 2: Full Day in Samburu
- Morning and afternoon game drives across semi-arid plains and riverine forests.
- Spot large elephant herds and predators in a less crowded setting.
- Optional cultural visit to a Samburu village.

- Early morning game drive, followed by relaxation at the lodge.

Day 4: Samburu – Ol Pejeta Conservancy
- Drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy after breakfast.
- Lunch at Sweetwater’s Maisha Camp, a comfortable tented camp with wilderness views.
- Afternoon game drive in the conservancy.
- Visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary and rhino conservation areas.
Dinner and overnight at Sweetwater’s Maisha Camp.

Day 5: Full Day in Ol Pejeta
- Morning and afternoon game drives in Ol Pejeta, known for high rhino populations and conservation programs.
- Optional activities: guided bush walks, lion tracking, night game drive.
- Visit the last two remaining northern white rhinos (Najin & Fatu).
Dinner and overnight at Sweetwater’s Maisha Camp.

Day 6: Ol Pejeta – Aberdare National Park
- Depart for Aberdare region and transfer to The Ark Lodge, a unique tree lodge overlooking a floodlit waterhole.
- Evening wildlife viewing from the lodge’s decks as elephants, buffaloes, and other forest animals visit the waterhole.
