Itinerary

1. Day 1: Travel from Nairobi to Samburu Communities

   • Board the safari vehicles and begin the scenic drive to Nanyuki, lasting approximately three hours and thirty minutes.

   • Take lunch upon arrival in Nanyuki.

   • Proceed to the Samburu communities for an afternoon cultural introduction.

   • Set up camp in the savannah and prepare for an overnight stay under the stars.

2. Day 2: Engage in Samburu Cultural Activities

   • Wake up early and take breakfast.

   • Begin the day’s homestead visits at 9:00 AM.

   • Participate in cooking traditional Samburu dishes.

   • Join in building local Samburu houses with community members.

   • Assist in grazing livestock and learn about pastoralist life.

3. Day 3: Explore Samburu in Maralal

   • Pack up and board the safari vehicles.

   • Travel to Maralal in Samburu County to deepen the cultural understanding.

   • Compare the lifestyles between Samburu people of Laikipia and Maralal.

   • Visit local dwellings and take part in preparing traditional meals.

   • Learn to make local beverages and participate in evening cultural performances.

4. Day 4: Return to Nairobi

   • Pack belongings and break camp.

   • Begin the return journey to Nairobi, concluding the tour.
