My guiding career started in New Zealand in 2004 after studying Adventure Tourism course.I was lucky enough to get an opportunity to work as a hiking guide on Milford Track, the most famous hiking trail there.I really enjoyed showing unique nature, stunning scenery and interesting history to all the visitors from around the world.After a few years, my focus changed.I started thinking of using my skill to show my home country, Japan, where rich history, unique culture and delicious food were found.Back to Japan in 2008, I chose Hida region to live, where the famous destinations like Takayama and Shirakawago were located.It was a perfect place for me to show traditional culture and countryside scenery and to enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, skiing and biking.I have been working as a local guide ever since 2010.I worked for a local tour operator for over 9 years and conducted over 1,500 tours.I am very experienced and well-qualified.I always look forward to meeting people to share new experience in Japan.
