What to bring
  • A dark T shirt is recommended to wear under a samurai garb.
Know before you go

  • Spectator Fee: The spectator fee is 2500 yen per person. Payment can be made in cash at the dojo.

  • Dojo Location: Our family dojo is located in the Kappabashi area, approximately 10 minutes away from Sensoji Temple, popularly known as Asakusa Kannon Temple.

  • Kappabashi Area: Kappabashi is the most famous wholesale market for kitchenware and cooking knives. Consider allocating at least one extra hour to stroll around these areas, especially if you are visiting Tokyo for the first time.

  • Important Note: Do not touch the real sword without permission.
