I’m an American living in the beautiful Shiga Prefecture, just next to Kyoto.

I’ve been lucky to call Japan my home for the past four years.

Now that I’m retired, I’m excited to share my love for this amazing country—especially the peaceful and often-overlooked spots beyond the busy crowds of Kyoto.
